SUPER BUY
This was a replacement for one I just bought that has one review (mine) It was trash. What a great relief when a nozzle check on this one was perfect. It also got here faster and was bit cheaper. Hurrah! Hope I can get a refund on the other lump.

Didn't work - but I don't know whether its the printhead or the printer
Tried to use this to replace my OEM printhead in a MP780 printer when I got a "Wrong cartridge" error message. According to what I read online, this should have fixed the problem. But it didn't. Come to find out that the circuitry in a 15 year old printer could also be blown. So it could have potentially been a blown printer, OR the printhead could have been bad. These are shipped direct from China, and took a while to get here.Rather than sink any more money into this printer, both the printhead and the printer have gone to recycling heaven. So I honestly don't know what to say, other than the error messages you are getting could be from something as simple as a new printhead, or could indicate electronic problems that are unfixable. Get a new printer instead. I did.

Works fine, and appears to be top quality. No difficulty to date, though I have only used b/w printing.

Worked for 20 pages then failed. Second print head never worked.
I bought a new old stock printer that had all the original orange shipping tape, a sealed print head, protective film, and a clean print head cleaning pad, etc. so it truly is new. I had bought this Oyat Ink print head for my old printer, which was on its last legs. I installed the Oyat print head - printed OK fir 20 pages, then my printer gave a "defective print head" error. Oyat gave a refund. I ordered another Oyat print head - no good. It would not print yellow or magenta even after many cleaning cycles. Printer works fine with the genuine Canon print head.

Took several weeks to arrive from Hong Kong but it works and I do not have to buy a new printer.
