Maxxis Ardent EXO TR Tire - 29in Skinwall, Dual Compound, 29x2.4

I like the look of the skinwall on the dark blue, almost black frame.The 2.4in wide version fits the bike on stock rims.Definitely less rolling resistance compared to the stock XR2 that is 2.2in, but I couldn’t really tell if this 2.4in tire is wider than the stock Bontragers.On the rear, the grip is the same as the stock tire. I was also slipping on the wet uphill muddy/sandy trail.Overall, great tires!

I took a chance on the gum wall just for cosmetics. Many complements from riders that own dual suspension/3X more expensive bikes than my 2018 f-si carbon 5! Original stock called for Schwalbe Racing Ralph 29x2.25. The Maxxis are 29x2.4. 100% difference. I'm 5'11", 218lbs, athletic built...the traction I get from these on wet/dry sand, stumps, rocks, gravel, man made mini ditches...and even dry single tracks (gravel)...are insane!!!I can punch my way through any terrain! Ascending/descending/ Cornering is as if I dismounted and rolled my bike through! Only thing, these tires have not been on pavement for more than 2 miles. So, I cannot comment on street riding. But off road....EXCELLENT! Highly recommend!!

great tires at a very reasonable price. I’ve only ridden the 2.4s once so far but they turned my 3000$ bike into feeling like a 5000$ bike. 20psi turned the local rocky trails into plush ride. I will be buying these again!

Quería una cubierta negra, de color negro...como la que pensaba que pedía. Como en la foto...

Pedí las 29x2.40 en NEGRO y me han llegado con los laterales BEIGE, fatal que en ningún momento lo indique en la descripción, pone NEGRO en todo momento.
