I’m so glad I took the advice from other reviews so size up. This is not Lycra or spandex material. There is zero give as in it doesn’t stretch or pull. I’m typically a large so XL was perfect. Even if it’s a little roomy in the waist, you can wrap the apron around twice, which should be done anyway. The apron tie can tie to the left or right — married ties to the left and single to the right. So if you go to Oktoberfest in Germany, remember that! In the US, I don’t think anyone knows. Otherwise, it’s a cute dress. The material isn’t original it as sturdy like what you’d get in Germany, but the stitching is pretty. I needed a second one and this works great for the occasion. Prost!

The dress was very good quality, along with the little blouse underneath and the apron. Very cute! Be careful with the size though...I had read all the reviews saying it was too small and you should order 2 sizes larger that you usually wear...not true in my case! I wear a size 6-8 dress normally, and a medium would have probably been perfect, in hind sight. But because of all the reviews, I ordered a large, which was too big for me and when I got it, it was labeled "Plus sized"! I wore it anyway, but it would have looked nicer if it had fit better! So I would say, if you are like me (5'3" and 135lbs), a medium should work! Otherwise, it's a great dress!

This turned out so cute! I ordered my usual size and followed measurements but I couldn't get it to zip past my ribcage. Reading other reviews I've found this is a common issue. Everything else fits great! I'm just going to have to size up and hope it's not too big. The material also feels a little cheap but I hope it holds up.Edit: this photo is my reorder that I upsized by one size. It fits perfectly!!!

Okay I had a hard time picking a size after reading reviews. I’m 5’9, 133lbs. I usually where size 8 or Medium in clothing. So I ordered a Medium. The dress runs small around top and mid section. There’s a zipper on the side of dress, and I had to have help getting it zipped because it was so tight (I felt like Rose on the titanic movie wearing a corset). So I hope this help with sizing. The dress is super cute, but very thin/ lightweight material. It was a little windy the day I wore the dress, so I had to wear shorts underneath. The smallest gust of wind blew it up due to the weight of the material.

I’m 5’2 & 130lbs and 34 DD. I ordered the medium and it fits perfectly. I love that this is a very modest fit, and while it’s tight in the chest, it’s not suffocating. If you wanted to show some more skin, you could adjust it, but I love the way this fits. The fabric is thick and not costume quality. I love it!

This dress runs very small. Elastic at waist would have helped. Very cute for Octoberfest.

I looked at a million dirndl dresses online for my upcoming Oktoberfest party. I wanted something not overly sexy, not boring, not costumey, and not blue. (It isn’t my color but many dirndl dresses come in blue I’ve found.) I haven’t seen this one anywhere else online and it’s a great price compared to many others.I’m 5’4, 125ish lbs, busty, and usually a s/m. I read some other reviews stating the top was small so last minute I sized up to a medium. Maybe the blue dresses fit a bit differently but the medium in this design is definitely big on me. However the apron works as a belt and makes it fit better. I may also get a petticoat to make it poof out more at the skirt.The fabric is light weight and the whole look is very pretty. Definitely recommend this one.

The side zipper is extremely cheap and flimsy. I am usually MORE than fine in a large and I wasn't even close to being able to zip this thing up without the zipper popping open. I ended up having to cut out an entire panel of the dress just to take it off because it was so tight and ill-fitting.

It’s always touch and go buying anything related to clothing on Amazon. But I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and fit of this dress. I’m normally a large size 14 or 16 UK, 5’6 and 176lbs with a large bust and purchased an XL to make I had some room to adjust if needed. It fit perfectly and looks authentic and flattering! Super pleased. Don’t hesitate to purchase if looking for your Oktoberfest outfit!
