This soap smells great and provides great cleanliness

I'm a long-time fan of the English Soap Company. The bars are large so they may be somewhat challenging for smaller hands, but the soap has the strong scent promised and it lasts until the end!

I bought 2 bars of Cinnamon Orange bar soap--one made in Italy, and this one made in England. On arrival I noticed both smelled identical. So much so, that I thought they might be the same bar in different packaging. I opened this one first and used it. The soap itself is rich with a luxurious lather. But both bars smell odd. My perception is of campfire, followed by cinnamon, with a brief flash of orange. It's making me wonder if European "cinnamon & orange" smells different than our US scents. The overall scent is definitely a woodsy smell--not what I was going for. If it were more cinnamon wood bark, I'd like it better! So I give it 5 stars for quality, but 3 stars for scent.

Smells wonderful, giant bar, seems solid like it will last a long time.

It smells very mild in the paper that it comes in yet bathing with it it leaves little to no scent on the skin at all. What a great disappointment. The packaging is pretty, but the soap itself, well, to me it wasn't worth the money or the trouble.I can only tell you - if you try it, here's hoping you will enjoy it. Me, not so much.

Nice long lasting exfoliating scented soap. Even with showering twice a day, it has lasted a month or more.

Looks like a high quality item, and this review is the odd man out, but just be aware that the smell is so strong that I mistook it for a port-a-let when it wafted across the yard from my outdoor shower...even before it was used. Don't go by this reviewer though as this person could be oversensitive. Never actually used the soap but wrapped it in plastic and sent it on its way. Apologies for the one star.

I could smell the soap before I opened the box. However, it doesn't smell that strong when it's used. Not really any lingering smell on your skin. It is not worth the price in my opinion.

Excellent soap that retains its perfume until finished and very reasonably priced. Bath size bar.
