OrlyBreathable Nail Color, Pamper Me, 0.6 Fluid Ounce

Loved this shade. It’s very natural looking, almost like no polish at all, but makes your nails look great. I switched from nail wraps to Orly Breathable polish after developing a nail fungus. This polish lets your nails “breathe” and not hold moisture up against the nail which could cause fungus. I’m trying lots of new Breatheable shades, and have loved them all so far. One coat is a sheer look, two coats are more like the color displayed.

This is the perfect nude. Somewhat sheer but buildable. I have 2 layers on over Salley Hansen's 7-in-1 treatment in my photo.I get about 5 days of wear out of this, applied over a nail strengthening treatment and without a top coat. With top coat, it doesn't last as long (I experimented with Seche Vite and got 3 days). At day 5 I had tip wear and a very small amount of chipping.I find it takes a while to dry without a QDTC so I started using Orly Flash Dry drops which helps cut dry time down a lot. By 5 days there were some scratches to my polish, but I really had to squint my eyes to see them. Love the wide paddle brush this comes with.I am a busy working mom, and I work in health care with frequent hand washing/sanitizer use. I do not baby my hands at all, other than applying lotion and cuticle oil twice a day.This is the first Breathable color I have tried. I am looking forward to purchasing more colors. But I am absolutely in love with this elevated natural look of Nourishing Nude.

The color is good - very natural and clean and sheer enough to let you natural nail show thru. I like that it’s breathable which is supposed to be healthier for nails and I was surprised how long it lasted. The only problem I had was in getting a very even coat. It was a tiny bit streaky going on and required a few attempts to get an even streak free look.

I have been using two shades of this polish for nearly two years and are very pleased with it. I always remind nail techs to avoid a base coat and top coat. The polish lasts about as long as any other and my nails are healthier.

I am a long-time Orly fan. This was the first time I tried a Breathable. Not sure if it was the Breathable formula or maybe I was shipped the oldest bottle of polish on the shelf. It was clumpy and stringy, like old polish. In the same order I bought another non-Breathable bottle that was fine. Orly is a great product so I am hoping was just an old bottle. Buyer beware, no returns on polish so if they aren't rotating their stock you will be out $8.

Girls, this Nourishing Nude polish is the perfect color nude. I have been searching my entire life for this! I am beyond pleased with the color. It is not pinkish, more sheer flesh colored, if that makes sense. And the brush is fantastic! I’m 65 years old, and have ridges in my nails now so I use ridge filler as a base, two coats of color, followed by a super shiny topcoat. It will start chipping sooner than I’d like, but that is because of the necessary layers.

I'm using Jublia on my toenails so I'm supposed to leave them bare. I read a study in Podiatry magazine saying that nail polish made no significant difference when only two coats were used. I was going on vacation and didn't want my sick toenails on display at the beach so I thought I'd try this. I love it. It's not exactly shiny OR matte after I've put on the medicine but as long as I always let my nails dry complete they're good. Also, after only two weeks (Jublia has to be used for a year) most of my nails have cleared up completely. I confess I bought another color of Orly Breathable and I use them all the time even though the medicine says not to. I really believe the breathability is good enough for me to use the medicine. And you really can just use two coats of the nail polish all by itself. I think I will continue using it even when all my nails are better because it is so much faster and easier to use.
