SRM HD Tie Down Kit

I mounted them on crosbars on my RAM 1500 with MountainTop Tonneau to provide tie-downs for a wire dog crate I carry there all the time. The wire crate "slots" into these as they protrude vertically and prevent any laterial movement in the crate with acceleration, braking, curves, etc. A single bungee to keep crate from bouncing up and off is only thing needed. Only complaint is that the paint is easily scratched off allowing them to rust.

The tie downs themselves look to be very sturdy, but, as others have stated, the lock-washers were not included. This is a minor inconvenience, but really pretty critical when installing on the cross bars. A sure indicator that Go Rhino needs some QA with the packaging department.

The lock washers were missing. Need the lock washers to safely install the tie downs in order to prevent the tie downs from coming loose while driving down the highway with two kayaks attached.

Ok Ok I know I gave it a three but let me explain. First off I bought Rhino Racks, four stars in my humble opinion. Its not a bad product, they work, but....the little rhino shape cut into the hold down sucks. The tie downs are alwasy off center and that sometime affect whats I tying down. So take it for what it's worth, they're ok, but they could be better.

As many others have stated, missing parts. Mine was missing ALL of the lock washers.
