Replaced circline bulbs in kitchen with these. Saved $100 bucks per fixture x three fixtures verses replacing with same style LED fixture. MUCH brighter!!! I would have rated 5 stars, however after testing one fixture for brightness and light coverage I modified the remaining two fixtures. Turns out three of the six lights purchased had a dead LED chip on them. Had I tested first I would have returned the three defective units for replacements. Be sure to test them first!Follow-up - After being in use for less than one year, here is my experience with these lights. Approximately one month ago one of the lights (two per fixture) started taking a while to illuminate. Now it's just dead! And today I came home and flipped the light switch, only to have one light flash like a strobe for a couple of minutes. Based on all the hype of LED's, I expected these to last at least a few years. Based on two failures out of six lights, I am reducing my rating to one star. My guess is I won't hear anything from the manufacturer and I will now have to find replacements for them.

 Light is a great alternative to the light bulb. I originally purchased for its intended use and then realized it my light fixtures have 2 or 3 sockets so I decided since it has magnets I could probably hack this into something great. So I created this bucket light. This is just a pale from the hardware store with a hole cut out and a pendant light cord.The light once diffused provides a constant even light. Easy to install and the magnets hold tight. Tight enough for the light to stay put once knocked off the kitchen table.I recommend this for anyone with a DIY spirit to make something great or anyone who wants more even lighting in a traditional light fixture.

Bought two of these for my kitchen with the optional protection plan on May 8th 2018. Worked great originally, great even light. Then around December the bulbs wouldn’t come on right away after turning on the switch, delayed 3 to 5 minutes but eventually came on. The delay progressively got longer, 15 minutes to an hour if they came on at all. Hoping it was just a loose connection I rewired both electrical boxes and ran new 18 Gauge wires to the LED modules. No change, there must be a problem with the LED driver in the module. So I filed a claim with the protection plan company who told me someone will be in contact in 8 Business days and will determine if they can be fixed or issue a reimbursement. Here I sit in my dark kitchen. Obviously I need light in my kitchen so I ordered two new LED bulbs from a different manufacturer, hoping these will last at least a year!

I replaced a Halogen bulb in a pole lamp with one of these. I only had to remove the bulb holder and repace it with this by using wire nuts. Then I replaced the 3 way switch with an on-off and it lites beautifully.I also replaced 3 circline flourescent fixtures guts. I removed both bulbs, disconnected the ballast then cut off the screw socket on the new piece and wire nutted the LED thingy in. I was able to bend the old bulb holders to hold the new LED fixture.

Bought this to replace the two circline bulbs of lithonia lighting model 11798 gm. The quality of it is OK but the design can be improved to fit more applications. The main problem in my case is the power connection wiring placement. The connection wire is in the center and the wire and the connector prevent the attachment of the unit via magnetic force from working unless they can be tugged in the existing fixture plate . In my case, that is impossible. So if your fixture plate to which you hope to attach this unit can not hold the wire and the connector so that the module can attach to the plate flat, you will have hard time counting on the magnet in the unit.

Over all not bad. I not as bright as I was thinking but it turned out to just right. The magnetic didn't work as well as I liked and I had to help hold it with silicone. But it would have been fine if the surface was a little flatter on the lamp.

The magnets should be offset more because some metal fixtures are not completely flat. Even the smallest bump will prevent the magnets from making contact. I used thick double-stick tape to work around it.I used the 12" retrofit kit in a dual circline fluorescent fixture. It is mounted off-center since I did not remove the existing threaded pipe. Installation in this case would be simpler if the LED kit had a hole through the center to allow a threaded pipe and nut to pass through.A great design feature is that the E26 wiring can be unscrewed from the fixture if you remove the small plastic cover.

The price is very good and there isn't a lot like it out there. I'm sure the magnets attached do work, it's just that unless the screw in socket is set in pretty far, there is just too much clearance between them and the magnet for it to hold. So, they kind of sit on top of the diffuser plastic.The light is very bright and spreads more than I expected which is a nice surprise.
