SpaRoom Mysto Ultrasonic Essential Oil Diffuser and Aromatherapy Fragrance Mister Marble

how can i take apart the top of this diffuser to clean it? it looks like the inner top piece should slide off but i can’t get mine to.

I got mine a month ago and suddenly I’m noticing no matter what setting it’s on, within a minute of using it, the light blinks twice and shuts off?

the clear plastic piece on the inside of the top looks like it should come off so i can clean the mold that is under it - does that come off or no?

BPA free - but there is a strong "plastic" smell which even changes the smell of the essential oils. Has anyone else experienced this?
