Quality slip matt with a smart design
I love this matt. It looks smart in its design, is very simple to clean and fits in perfectly with my record player set up.I've used acrylic matts for a while now as I find it has improved the sound quality of using my records. This is a great one to pick up, use and most of all it's super easy to clean when you have cats in the house (vs a felt matt which is a nightmare!)

Simple but effective
I’m not a DJ only for home use what a difference in sound quality for such an easy fit removed old rubber bed & just put it on like a record I mainly play old LPs & 45s it’s slightly smaller than an LP so I have to remove when I have finished playing it comes with its own sleeve just like a record, the LP sits way better as it is supported all the way across the diameter. For such an easy thing to fit improves listening quality I am very happy

It really makes a difference
This is a great product, it really does bring out the sound quality of your vinyl and pick up the bass very clearly.Just note that you will need to dust it down like a record regularly as it isn’t anti static.

Works best with140g vinyl
Bought thisba couple of months ago, I find the static overall is reduced, but I find 140g vinyl just slips off but the 180g vinyl was stuck to it at the end of side A, I use an audio technica lp120 so I done a bit of research on it and found the default 2.2 tracking force setting is aimed more at 140g vinyl and it recommended reducing the tracking force to 2.0, since I done that no issues, the slip mat does what it says on the tin

Platter Mat - Better than Rubber?
In the 'snake oil' debate filled world of hifi the option to couple of de-couple your records from its environment rage. This 'cheap' option is still a major upgrade from a flimsy rubber mat. VTA was fine.Further the mat fits neatly. I added a silicone flex washer as well for extra spindle clamping/dampingAs to whether it sounds better - "of course it does". Can it be improved, "of course it can". Life is not meant to be taken too seriously. I bought the mat for an upcoming review to compare various options that I have, including a HexMat (which is in the post...) :)I use a weighted clamp (RDC) to apply load to a record so now have a well-coupled- solution on my 70's Trio TT. #HappyDays

Just what I needed to make a difference!

Ok
Not the best. A little too flexible. Preferably something a little stiffer would work better.
