I love this chair! More than 25 years ago, my neighbor gave me one just like it. Before she gave it to me, it had already spent many years in her yard. After all this time out in the elements it is still doing beautifully. I’ve spent many mornings outside with a cup of coffee, gently rocking back and forth, enjoying the flowers and vegetables. I was delighted to find the same thing available here, so I bought another. Assembly is easy, and takes no tools. The parts easily slide together, or slide apart for a thorough scrubbing. But they won’t come apart unless I take them apart - - no risk of it disassembling on its own. The seat is nice and broad, which is perfect if the person sitting on it is not small. There’s never a fear that the chair will collapse under someone.

I purchased this chair because it's wide, hopefully durable and reasonably priced in comparison with other resin chairs. I found it unwieldy to put together alone. It comes in just four large pieces. I used the idea of soaping the edges and that helped join the pieces, but also made the pieces more slippery and difficult to handle. Still, I needed to use a file to smooth the seams so they fit into their slots better. Good thing there was no small pouch of screws or such, because there was a large hole in the box when it arrived--presumably caused by the shipping company and small pieces would have been lost. Once the chair is put together it is attractive but I find it has me sitting a bit more upright than I prefer. Still, I think I'll enjoy it come summer.UPDATE: I see I've had the chair more than seven years now. It has held up well, is easy to clean, and I use it every day--several times a day when it's not too cold or snowy. I have it in the shade of a tree where I spend a great deal of time reading while my dog does his business and keeps an eye on the neighborhood. It abides in my garage in the winter and I sometimes open the garage door, sit in my rocking chair and the dog and I watch the snow fall. I've grown accustomed to its upright feeling and love that it rocks.In the first review I wrote, when I said the box had a large hole, I meant large as in cantaloupe-sized. In reading many of the other reviews about the difficulties of assembly like I had, I advise using a rasp (I only had a fingernail file handy) on the seams just enough to smooth them and allow the pieces to slide into place. It was still a challenge for one person with the pieces slippery with soap, but it worked for me.2nd update: I've now had the chair for 12 years, and it has held up perfectly. I bring it out when the snow melts in the spring, and it's outside now, but winter will force me to put it in the garage within a month. We had a great deal of wind the last couple days kicking up a lot of dirt and then it rained briefly leaving the chair and everything else filthy. I don't currently have a garden hose, but I took one gallon of water in a jug outside and rinsed it off easy as pie. Still pretty and white after 12 years. I get compliments on it.

Ive had mine a year now at least, its comfortable and drys quickly due to no cushion. Highly reccomend.

Very happy with the chair, however, it is a bit tricky to put together. Worth the effort and a nice accent to my patio.
