The mat came with small damage (spot the size of a dime that had some silver paint like stuff on it, 2 spots on the edge that looked like they were melted). It also had a harsh chemical smell that made me light headed after 5-10 min of use. I dont care much about the damage because its a cutting mat and none of it is "structural" damage. The smell is the main issue, but what can you expect from a cheap Chinese product. Im letting it air out so for a few hours in hopes the smell goes away.

I make precision dental prosthesis , jewelry and pre ion scale models. The cutting board is great for all of them! Looks sharp and professional on my work desk too. Many complementary comments.
