Klipsch RSB-8 won't disappoint except???
Hmmmmmmm.....I wasn't sure which Soundbar to choose then read some reviews about the RSB-8 plus I was looking for a newer model with Bluetooth connection. Hence I still took a chance on these Klipsch....Mind you, I only ordered 2 days ago...Prime delivers BabyNow about the actual review...lolThis Soundbar far exeeded my expectations but then again, I just got it today, and hooked it up. I played music off my AZ music but it didn't play music from Itunes (disappointed). Bass is decent not pounding Bass like my 7.2 set up but I knew it wouldn't compare bc of a Soundbar.TV connection was thru Digital Optical cable and so far...sound is not bad....hv not tried DVD or any 4K soundtrack. My only gripe is to use Bluetooth, you have to download Klipsch Stream App which wouldn't be a problem except you can only play from the sources the App supplies (AZ Music, Pandora, Spotify, IheartRadio, Etc...) just not ItunesBottom line:I would have given 5 stars but Bluetooth streaming is limited so 4 stars for now. I will update in a few weeks to see if it holds up to my liking.....Try it out, for it's size/weightVery solidly built n good sounds!

Beautiful sound but very quirky.
Connected the RSB-8 to a new Sony XBR-65-X850D. I use a Dish VIP722K DVR. An HDMI signal from the DVR to the RSB-8 does not function properly. The HDMI out is connected to the Sony HDMI-ARC socket. The RSB-8 is unable to properly process the audio signal, although the video works well. When watching a Dish program the Dolby light on the RSB-8 blinks intermittently with a corresponding loss of audio resulting in an interrupted audio experience--very annoying and unacceptable. However, the HDMI pass through works on the DVD player (Panasonic DMP-BDT210) without the intermittent audio disruption, but then I have to use the optical sound cable from the Sony to the RSB-8 for the Dish sound. If you are looking to use the HDMI capability for all components I recommend you confirm with Klipsch that it will work with whatever tv signal service and tv combination you intend to use it with as well as the other components you may wish to connect. I am very disappointed in Klipsch' ability to make its equipment compatible with common components such as the Sony tv and the Dish receiver. I am not disappointed, however, in the sound produced by the soundbar and the subwoofer--it is typical Klipsch top quality. Conclusion: great sound at the cost of quirky application. UPDATE: 7/10/20 — sound is still great, but remote is weak and sporadic.

Great sound and good price - but has limitations....
Great sound bar - awesome sound for the price. I researched all the common names, Bose, Sonos, etc and preferred the open architecture of play-fi + Klipsch was too hard to pass up.***Update 4/14/18******The soundbar will not pass a chroma of greater than 4:2:0 (4K UHD @60hz), so if you have a video requirement that is higher than that the sound and picture will stutter and dropout - I am looking for a workaround (e.g., an hdmi splitter that can send different video signals to different outputs). Klipsh has no information regarding updating the soundbar - Dropping to 3 stars from 5 for this - if they do the upgrade I will change it back to 5.

This sound bar have technical issues
Klipsh is know for their quality sound and products, and for this specific product I gotta said that I only got quality sound. Overall this sound bar is amazing if it turn on, and that's the only problem I have, it goes on zombie mode and I have to plug it and unplug it couple times to reset it and make it work.

I followed the directions that looked like a grade school kid put together
I ignored other reviews that discussed my same problems. Big mistake.Hassle, one big hassle. First ,the HDMI arc cable from the TV did not produce sound. This was a brand new top of the line TV. I contact Klipsch and put in a help ticket. Never heard from them. By the way, I followed the directions that looked like a grade school kid put together. Pathetic. So I bought an optical cable and great news- sound! Well not so great. The subwoofer did not pair with the sound bar. Or did not power up. I could not tell. By the way the directions for pairing showed pictures of a different subwoofer!

USELESS INSTRUCTIONS, Difficult (impossible for me) set up - avoid unless this doesn't scare you
Piece of junk. I am an electrical engineer and tech savy and I never could get the REQUIRED app to load on my phone and sync with the unit. The owner's manual / instruction manual was LESS THAN USELESS. The instructions were comprised of one step - download the app and follow directions in the app - that's it!! That's all it said. Without the app working properly I had a $600 pile of useless electronics so I sent it back for a refund. Apparently some folks are able to set it up and make it work, and supposedly it sounds great, but I was not able to do so.

... is more interested in the wifi for other uses like Pandora etc
Thought I bought a sound bar for my TV but Klipsch is more interested in the wifi for other uses like Pandora etc. Can't get it to work with HDMI. Sending it back so someone else can be frustrated. The instruction manual is very incomplete. Buy and other brand is my recommendation.
