Tech Armor Ballistic Glass Screen Protector Designed for Apple iPhone 6 Plus, 6s Plus, iPhone 7 Plus, and iPhone 8 Plus Tempered Glass 3 Pack

I have been using these Tech Armor ballistic glass screen protectors on my family's iPhones for the last couple of years. My wife and I currently carry an iPhone 7 plus. We use cases but occasional drops have occurred where these glass screen protectors appear to take the damage, maybe a small chip on the edge of the protector but leaving the phone's screen unscathed. Sometimes a small crack would form after a few months of normal use. I've always felt they worked well enough but never had an incident where I felt they were TRULY tested. That day was today. We were vacationing in Lake Tahoe and had just finished packing up the van to head home. I placed my phone on the roof of the van and got distracted as I was checking our luggage and getting our kids buckled in, instantly forgetting I had placed it there. We drove off, turning onto highway 50 to find a place to eat breakfast. A short 5 minute drive later we parked and started making our way to the restaurant entrance. Upon checking my pockets and not finding my phone a wave of complete and utter grief pulsed through my body... I LEFT MY PHONE ON THE ROOF OF THE VAN! For a split second I thought no problem, we'll just turn around and head back to the parking lot where it would laying in pristine condition. Then my youngest son says he saw something "dark" fall across the outside of his window after we turned onto the highway. At that point I was sure my phone was a goner... laying in the middle of a very busy 2 lane highway where enough time had passed for numerous cars or trucks (big rigs maybe?) to drive directly over it. We get back in the car and head back to the hotel parking lot. As we get close I can see it laying face down in the southbound right lane - not in the middle of the lane, but off to the side in perfect alignment of the tires of each and every passing vehicle. I park and wait for a break in the traffic and grabbed my phone, bracing myself for the utter and complete obliteration of my trusty device. I figured I'd need a new screen at minimum and at worst, a replacement phone. At first glance, all appeared to be lost as the screen looked cracked to kingdom come but the phone was powering on. I looked closer and to my sheer amazement the damage was contained to the ballistic glass screen protector! Back in the safety of our van, I carefully removed the shattered screen protector.... other than two tiny scratches at the very bottom of the screen (the curved part), my phone was perfect. My Apple silicon case suffered a bit of damage, including a lovely tire imprint on the back (which washed off), and some warping at the edges but it too was in surprisingly good shape considering the ordeal. I will ALWAYS use these Tech Armor ballistic glass screen protectors going forward on my phones. I am 100% convinced that had I not had the protector on my phone it would not have survived, or maybe survived but requiring a replacement screen. I attached a photo of what the screen protector looked like afterwards. I highly recommend Tech Armor screen protectors.

The quality of the glass itself is good looks like, you get 3 protectors and it's easy to install. Customer service is fast to respond. Now why the one star. I always used their products and never had a problem with their products. I just blindly purchased this set because of the company. The underlaying message from their customer service is that I can't install a screen protector basically. They did refund me. I can not use any of the screen protectors out of both sets I got. At the same place on the top right corner it would not stick. This was put on a brand new iPhone that was never used. Plastic from the factory was still on it. I can make a mistake, but all 6 protectors ( 2 packs) are doing exactly the same thing. I'm pretty sure there is a fault at the manufacturing place for this lot. I 'm reading some reviews and some customers having the same problem. I hope customer service of Tech Armor reads this and check upon that. I'm not eager to buy from this company anymore, not so much for the product, but because they do not believe a customer and at the end refund the money and that will solve the problem. I appreciate the refund, because I do not want to pay for a product that doesn't work. But the problem of these screen protectors do not go away by itself.

I have used this brand for about 5 yrs now, without a single broken screen on any of my iPhones. The TA glass has sacrificed itself MANY times, which by the way is what it is supposed to do! It does not always break with a drop, but when it does - I am more than happy to replace the inexpensive ballistic glass. People, stop whining when it breaks, it just saved you the cost of a new screen! Buy the three pack and always have a spare available. I am such a klutz, I take a spare on vacation with me just in case.Of my friends and family that use THIS product, none have had a broken phone screen.Using a plastic cover only protects against scratches.Some have said theirs peeled off is a short time. My experience is it only happened to me when my alignment was off. Eventually, the edge not stuck to the glass caught on something and that started it peeling back and cracking.For less than $3.50 in the three pack - This ballistic glass is indeed AWESOME!

I first bought Tech Armor screen protectors for my first smart phone, and they’re the only company I buy screen protectors from. Once they’re on, these protectors aren’t going anywhere. There’s no bubbles, there’s no screen distortion, and it doesn’t affect the touch screen whatsoever. Literally the only issue I have ever had with these is it sometimes slides with heavy phone use, but never more than a fraction of an inch. The only reason it bothers me is because I’m particular about the protector holes perfectly lining up with my home button and the ear speaker/front facing camera. I’ve NEVER used all of the protectors in a single pack, and that’s because I never need to. And every time I’ve removed a protector to replace it or trade in the phone, it leaves no residue aside from maybe a slight dirt line around the edges that come off with a bit of rubbing alcohol and a q-tip. Just make sure to follow the instructions exactly and ensure that your phone screen is well-cleaned before application, or else you will get bubbles or particles stuck under the protector.

Made a 3 pack purchase last year and the screen protector did a great job of preventing damage to the screen. Everything was included to perform the installed. I when through 3 screen protectors in the past year and i was very happy with Tech Armors customer support. They replied instantly to my email and provided me with a warranty replacement shortly after. i didn't even need to pay for shipping. I would not recommend any other screen protectors for there reliable customer service alone. Great products and great company.

These are just superb screen protectors. This is my forth one two iPad minis a 6 plus and now an 8 plus. So easy to apply no messing and you also have no fingerprints to contend with. If you have a smudge just a quick wipe and good as new. I also dropped my last iPhone and caught it in just th wrong place cracked the glass and damaged the screen protector, but Tech Armor came to the rescue with a brand new cover no questions asked. Top service from a top company.

My phone has gone down the emergency exit stairs in my building which are obviously concrete, and the glass has never broken. The ballistic glass will break, but it saves the phone glass and considering these are so much cheaper, I'll happily replace these over and over again. Since using these covers on both mine and my wife's phone, we've never had to replace the phone glass. Enough said.

I have used this product for quite a number of years and I absolutely recommend and love it. I feel protected and it’s easy installation makes it a great product. I have managed to convince my family to use tech armor and they love it as well. I highly recommend it. Packaging said iphone 8 instead of 8 plus bit I guess it was just a typo because it was for the iphone 8 plus

Had a spigen glass on before but after a few months started to suffer edge chipping issuesDespite the rounded edges. Techarmor seems fine so far, good clarity but get some rgb banding St the edges because it is a millimetre less width than the screen it seems I'm off by a half mm on each side. Hence 4 stars. Will update if second glass fixes and this is just a production aberration

Not sure what I should have expected except I thought it would protect the screen from craking. so I had to recently change the screen protector and found that the actual iphone 8 screen was cracked in the same place the protector was cracked. im thinking none of these screen protectors do what they say they should do and I would not believe the hype in the ads where you see people smacking their screens with hammers. only thing probably good for is finger prints resistance but it wont protect your screen from cracking.
