Printers work best with a USB lead
My home office I have a printer which can accept ethernet / WiFi / usb. Usb easily wins in terms of ease-of-use. Problem was I didn't want the printer on my main desk so it's now located on the other side of the office. The cable is so pretty, with clips or a cable insulator it doesn't feel out of place.
