Taiyaki Fish-shaped Cake Pan

Bought this for my brother as he lived in Korea for many years. He said that work amazing!! He uses them quite often when he hosts friends and family and they are easy to use and easy to clean. He said he did clean it before he used them so there wasn’t any weird tastes and coating on the food. It is a bit smaller than expected but it makes it ease to use as if it was too heavy and big it might have been harder to use on the stove.

Making taiyaki was very easy! I filled them with Nutella which tasted delicious! I’ll definitely have to try custard or red bean paste next. 2 minutes on each side on medium heat, and they look ✨perfect!✨ 👍 They turned out so cute 🥰 🐟 I think the price was very reasonable, would definitely buy again! Can’t wait to make more!💜

My four-year-old has been obsessed with taiyaki from Somisomi, but it does get prciey when I’m spending $10+ a couple times a week. This pan is reasonably priced and really good quality. It makes perfectly toasty taiyaki, and as you can see from this picture, the kid can’t take their hands off of them. I made the Taro homemade using 2 LB of taro root, one can of sweetened condensed milk, one can of evaporated milk, some salt and vanilla extract. If you can add a little bit of milk, if you want it less thick. I freeze this in a Ziploc bag and last me six months! I found a really great taiyaki recipe online, the trick is to use tapioca flour in combination with all purpose flour. Google “Mochi Taiyaki Waffles” to get the recipe below! 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 cup Mochiko flour (or tapioca flour) 2 tablespoons sugar 3 teaspoons baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 3/4 cups whole milk 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla

Easy to use and foods do not stick. It's good quality. Cooks well. Heats evenly. My son is loving cooking various items in it.

Works great! I put the iron on my smallest burner, let it heat up each side for a minute or two. Makes great taiyaki. The kids love them.

Amazing. Easy to use (I use it on my glass stovetop on “4” heat and it works perfectly). its non stick, but i still use a small cotton round/ kitchen paper soaked in oil to rub the crevices and it works a lot better. Produced lovely taiyaki.
