Works well
Just what I needed to work with my Sony DAT audio recorder and a stereo microphone that has separate left and right 1/8" TS male outputs.

I wrote a review a few moments ago, I found a way to make it work
If the previous review I sent through can be erased, I found how to make it work, I don't know what was happening though atleast one of them is working now

Great Grip
I needed this adapter to make use of two speakers, each having a mono 3.5mm plug. This adapter has a tight grip to hold the cords in place, and with the gold coating, the sound quality is great, Each wire is very flexible and they were easy to guide where I needed them to go for a perfect fit behind my stereo.

Great for Mirrorless or DSLR-style cameras!
I bought this adapter so that I could run my wireless lav and my shotgun mic into separate tracks on my Panasonic S5iiX. I might end up swapping out the male side plug for a right-angled one at some point, but that's just because I like my stuff to be all low profile. The different colored plugs make it easy to know which track your mic will be going to.

Great for setting up 2 Amazon echo speakers
I bought this cable splitter to set up 2 Amazon echo speakers that accept audio in/out to get better audio quality from our xbox and streaming device. Using 2 stereo cables wasn't providing the right sound quality but now we're getting individual left and right channels as they should be and the sound has changed completely. I'm still using the same stereo cables but only the mono sound is coming through each one because the cable splits stereo into 2 mono left/right channels. If you are using the same echo speakers, be sure to set them correctly in the Alexa app one as left and other as right speaker and select the input/output audio correctly.

Great but wrong
Ok here is the issue I bought this not thinking it is male 3.5 mm jack to 3.5mm split female mono jack. I got the male 3.5 mm to female stereo jack… boo hoo, well I am still using them to connect stuff to my stereo system. So no loss still worth the money

I'm not really sure what this cable is actually meant for but I had an idea of using it to create a headset cable for my HE400se headphones. I wasn't sure if this idea was going to work but I found this adapter for $10 and thought I might as well try, and to my surprise it actually works. I'll try to explain it. So the HE400se uses a dual 3.5mm headphone cable. That's one 3.5mm mono connector per ear cup. So what I've done here is I plug a V-moda Boom Pro into the left ear cup. The V-moda boom pro has an adapter that separates the headphone and microphone into their own 3.5mm cables and with that I plug the headphone portion of that into the white plug of THIS adapter. I then plug a normal 3.5mm cable into the right ear cup, which then goes into the red plug of this adapter. That's basically it, with that I get a proper stereo connection to the headset and I then just plug the microphone wire into a USB adapter and the whole thing works as a headset now. I then just wrapped the cables together below the mic mute box and then zip tie the mess up the best I can. It's not perfect of course, my main complaint is that the volume wheel only controls the left side because of how this works, but really I wish there was no volume wheel at all. It's also pretty ugly and ghetto but in the end it was super cheap, especially compared to something like a mod mic. I already had the rest of these things laying around so this $10 adapter saved me a decent amount of money
