Q: Are made of cloth or mesh? I want to be really sure because the mesh hurts me.

It is plasticky cover and gives me rash and urinary issues, sometimes even UTI. Get their other pad https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006R6U9SY/ that is the one with the more cotton and soft cover.

Q: Why n earth was this shipped to me without a box to protext packaging or contents? Shiping lable is on a feminine product box and the box is damaged.

Mine arrived in a box. Yours should have arrived in a box as well. It was the responsibility of whoever shipped them to you to put them in a box.
