Benzoin Incense 100% Natural Aromatic Tree Resin Gum Sap Solid Crystals

I keep coming back to this brand for buying resin online. The price is fair, the chunks are decent and the scent is accurate.

Recently got into burning resins and incense. I had smelled frankincense at church in the past, but I hadn't smelled the other ones.I can't speak for the quality as I don't know how varied qualities can get with resins. But my experience with the variety pack was great!Frankincense and copal are my favorite!Benzoin is decent; I don't care too much for myrrh or dragon's blood.For the cost, I'm very happy with my purchase!I will only get frankincense and copal going forward, but I'm glad I had a chance to experience the other ones.In case you're wondering, frankincense has a pine-like smell, while copal has a lemony scent. Benzoin, myrrh, and dragons blood have an animalic scent that is not to my taste.

I am always skeptical of buying incense online as there is always lower quality products which look just like the real thing. I have the absolute pleasure of knowing many South Asian folks and they always have the most lovely scent, in their clothes and in their hair. It's sweet, and floral and woodsy all at the same time. I had always been to shy to ask my friends what their smell is outright as most have said it depends on the day and which God you're seeking so I set off on months long quest to find it through experimentation. I've tried literally dozens of resins to attempt to capture their essence. Finally I found this Benzoin or what they term Sambrani. THIS IS THE ONE FOLKS, this is the incense you have all been looking for. Its aroma is so uplifting and it really sets the mood of the home to that perfect setting for spiritual growth. I am so pleased with this product so if you're a connoisseur of incense (like i pretent to be) this is the one they all aspire to be like. Thank you to this vendor for putting out this quality product. I hope it stays available.

I got these to display my gold, frankincense and myrrh for Christmas in the containers my husband made for me. I don't use the incense burners that these are used for so I got them mostly for display. They were strong when first getting them out of the containers. I did notice that when I was placing them back into a zipped locked container they were not as strong of an odor. Of course they may be fine when burning them. I think it would be nice if manufacturer would have used a resealable zipped lock closure bag but I guess they don't plan on someone putting them back into a container but logic would think you would use the whole pack either. Anyway.... just plan on using a reclosable bag for these to help maintain freshness when you open them. Cool set of variety of incense anyway. This was the most economical way for me to get 3 different incense in one purchase. I used the copal as the gold. I have not opened the benzoin or dragons blood.

I have ordered this tree resin a few times. I use it in an anointing oil recipe. An oil of protection. I use a low heat in oven to melt the resin then combine it with other ingedents. If the heat is too high it will burn. Finally strain the mixture through a strainer. This removes the larger plant particles. Leaving a red sandy materiel. Highly recommended for this. The fragrance mixed with Olive oil is magically calming.

These look and smell like someone added cheap perfume, dye, and plastic to poor quality resin. In my experience, these look, act, and smell nothing like the resins they claim to be.

Of all the items in the variety pack, the benzoin smelled the most like incense. The others were pine tar, or plastic at worst. Burning these on charcoal tablets produced an awful lot of smoke. Not recommended for indoor use, even in a window, unless you enjoy setting off fire alarms. I was recommended to wrap the resin in tin foil before placing on the charcoal. This reduced the acrid smoke considerably, since the resin is now being heated and melted rather than burned.

I like this product. Burns well. Long lasting. I like the variety in the package. Good quantity for the price.
