the Keychron k8 is hot swappable on the keychron website. But when i tried to swap the switches, i found out that the switches are soldered on.

This SILENT mechanical keyboard is more quiet than any regular keyboard I've ever owned. And it feels very high end. I bought one two weeks ago and liked it so much that I bought another one today. It's short enough to fit into my backpack, so I take it to all the different buildings I work in. You DO need a wrist pad though. It's taller than a regular keyboard of course.

Great keyboards, I had to buy one for work. Overall, the keys are great, and they come in a less "clicky" versio,n which is even better where I work. I ended up buying 3 of these keyboards in 2 different versions.

Very solid build. Nice firm response when you're typing on it. It's a bit more narrow than my MacBook Air keyboard so sometimes it feels a little constricting and it often takes a little time to reconnect to my computer, but very convenient as a replacement when I hook my MacBook to my Ultra Wide monitor.
