I finally pushed the button & ordered the Duo Wave a couple of days ago. Some reviews say that the vibration levels are too strong, while others report the vibration levels aren’t strong enough. After using this for a coil of days I experienced very strong vibration on all 5 levels. I wonder whether the difference in vibration experience is caused by body weight, with lighter weight people feeling stronger vibration, while heavier people experience less. For reference, I’m 115 pounds. But I really don’t know whether weight is a factor…I tried rolling with the Duo Wave, but found rolling to be more trouble than it was worth. I find traditional foam rollers to be easier to use. I was thinking about returning it when I thought of simply placing the Duo Wave on a particular area for a minute or two. Game changer! So I sat on the couch and placed the unit on my traps & just let it sit there for a minute. So incredibly relaxing! Then, using cushions on the couch, I so I upped the vibration level and placed the unit between my shoulder blades ( I live alone & can never get my Theragun to reach that area). Again, incredibly relaxing! I have thin arms (which can’t stand Theragun treatments), so I put the unit on my forearm & slowly moved it up and down. Same relaxing reaction. The vibration traveled up & down my arm.In my opinion, the Duo Wave won’t replace my Theragun (or foam roller) as recovery tools. It complements them. It’s just so damn comforting & relaxing, it’s worth the money & my time using it the way I describe.Hope this helps!

This little ball takes away pain like nobody’s business. It;s awesome! And it has an APP! And the app is awesome too. Completely worth the money if you suffer from pain.

So, for the last year and a half, the ball has been amazing. About 3 months ago, the rubber started moving around the ball making it difficult to reach the charging port. Eventually, the plate over the plug fell off and won’t stay back on. Now, I am getting two large protrusions under the rubber shell on the opposite side from that charging plate that are about 1/2 inch each. They are very intermittent and will disappear as quickly as they show up. I have yet to remove the rubber casing to find out what they are, but I can tell you the ball gets extremely hot at times. It’s odd, because the in er ball is solid, so why would there be protrusions intermittently coming out and then disappearing???? See attached photo for loose rubber but the protrusions have disappeared again so I’ll have to add later.

Ive been flat-footed ever since i was a kid, but ive been ignoring the issue for years. I work in construction, so im on my feet all day. Only recently have I chosen to wear shoe inserts to support my fallen arches and keep my legs in the proper posture. Its helps a lot, but i still had this nagging foot/leg pain and soreness from years of neglect. This thing has literally taken away my foot & leg pain. It has 3 vibration strength settings. I always turn it up to max power to really feel the massage effect. It’s also very durable, so i can really step as hard as I need to really dig into my plantar fasciitis muscle tissue where i feel pain the most. For me it was COMPLETELY worth the money, because i really only used this thing for 1 good massage session and my pain is gone! Portability is a plus too, so if I ever feel like getting a quick pleasurable foot massage, I just pull it out anytime, anywhere.Like i said, it’s not perfect. There’s a small flat spot where the power button and USB-c charge port is. So sometimes you’ll roll it on the flat spot and have to reposition it. I can see that being very annoying for some people, but it doesn’t bother me. My feet and legs are forever changed and I LOVE this thing! 100% worth the money for me!

As a person with left side weakness, back aches, and muscles stiffness, this massage ball was the perfect remedy to my problems. I often feel relieved after usage. It’s great when sitting at a desk/table. It’s great to use post workouts. I’m MOST amazed by the battery life. I often feel relieved post workouts and even when adding it to my workout regime to relax my hamstrings, shoulder blades, neck, and lower back area. Great purchase, I HIGHLY recommend! 10/10!

UPDATE: Bought this on March 19, 2023 and now the battery suddenly won't hold a charge at all so it won't turn on. Oddly, I'll leave it plugged in for several hours until the light turns green and the app connects/shows it's 100% charged. However, as soon as I unplug the cable, it goes completely dead and will not turn on at all. Therabody said there's nothing they will do since the warranty is only 1 year. I now have a brick. I've filed an extended warranty claim with my credit card to try and get a refund.Original Review: I had a Theragun already and love it so I thought I'd try this to help with treating a torn rotator cuff and an old whiplash injury. The vibration when used on the neck literally makes your teeth chatter even on the lowest setting, while other areas can get a numbing/tingling sensation on your skin for a bit after use. I tried the shoulder pain routine in the free app, but I'm surprised they don't have demonstration videos with real people in it. The app shows a cartoon-y looking picture with arrows pointing in the direction(s) you're supposed to roll. One part of the routine is for a side lat massage, but the picture shows the regular Wave Roller, not the Wave Duo. I tried it, but maybe unless you're petite/small framed, it's a bit painful to do this on the Duo. The app knows I have a Duo, but it seems to recommend Roller-designed exercises regardless.Maybe it's more that the app doesn't really help guide you as well as it should considering these products are designed by physical therapists. I'm keeping it as it does seem helpful with some things, just not as much as I had hoped it would.
