Does what it says on the tin.My tap water is 0gh and 0kh so absolutely no mineral content and is hard to keep a cycle going, this easily buffers my water which is great for the fish, plants and cycle.Only thing I will say is more instruction on when to add would be good. Currently do at water change once filled. I'm aware filling with soft water then buffering in the tank can't be good for the fish to have such a change in a short space of time. Not sure how else to do it though
