I can't compare it to any other device because this is the first one I have used. The ease of use is fantastic, everything is clear and the Measure On app is a great accompaniment. Highly recommend this laser measure device.

Finally! Laser beam is green and easier to see then the red laser. Vibration helps when measuring and this version seems much more sturdier than previous models.

Ok, so I've used quite a few of these laser detectors over the years, they're really useful for professionals and DIY'ers, and I'm always surprised when I see a painter, floor layer, or plasterer without one of them, it helps you make an extremely accurate reading of any room and almost any wall. it will work against any material type but it will struggle when going through glass (but don't try to measure the width of a bathroom wall through the shower glass, the laser will reflect off the glass and that is the reading the sensor will take), the only walls it cannot deal with are free standing walls as they don't have edges to aim the laser at. So is the bosch any better than a lot of the ones out there that you can get for £30 or so? Honestly, not really no, it has basically all the same functions as the others, and if you want to measure wall lengths, ceiling heights, work out floor area or even volume even the most basic ones will do amazing jobs with similar if not identical accuracy as this one here... So why buy this one? well, it's absolutely all about the measure-on app, and it's not just limited to the measure-on app, it's the apps made by the Bosch partners that you're allowing yourself into, e.g. Floor Plan Creator, Magicplan, Measuresquare 2 etc etc, they all use the bosch BT on this device to essentially turn your measurements into impressive looking diagrams, quotes, project proposals etc... And it's quick, easy, and so incredibly useful. The measure-on app itself is free to download and works really well, but it lacks some levels of detail that you'd expect from a planning app, but it's fantastic as a baseboard for room plans... measure and connect via bluetooth and the wall lengths are in... =)

L'ancien Bosch à rendu l’âme après quelques année de service ... Du coup je me suis fais plaisir avec celui-ci ... Et quelle plaisir !! :-) Très intuitif, facile d'utilisation, superbe lecture, la petite bulle pour signaler l’horizontalité, la mise en mémoire, la posibilité de reporté les côtes sur une APP MeasureOn pour créer les plans et prise de mesure a distance..., le menue explicatif en cas de doute sur le chois d'une fonction et des fonction il en à !!! En bref un outil de haute voltige super agréable à utiliser certes le prix est comme les Bosch pro. mais à l'utilisation on l'oublie ... vite ;-)
