But these flutes are well worth the money, especially if you've had any experience with other Bansuri sellers online in the west; I've bought flutes that were out of tune, moldy and generally cheap touted as complete sets and had to return them.I guess in this case you get what you pay for.Excellent finish, in-tune and a joy to play - the deep, rich sound of a bansuri is unmatched by instruments in the same category several orders of magnitude more expensive.

These flutes play well and have an excellent sound. The bamboo is nicely finished and flawless. I took off a star because after playing it for a couple of months, the decorative (green) thread at the blow hole end of the G Base flute began loosening and unraveling with what I consider normal and careful use. It finally looked so bad I just cut it off. Considering the price point and reputation of the builder, this is quite disappointing. The more important structural binding (black thread) is well glued and solid, so I don't think the loss of the colored thread will affect the longevity of the instrument.

Build quality is excellent, I like the appearance and bamboo looks premium quality. As I'm a beginner so can't give detailed review on sound but can say sound quality is excellent.

The flute set is wonderful.
