Michael's of Brooklyn Marinara Sauce, 32 oz

Absolutely delicious! Just like the restaurant. One would never guess it's from a jar. One of the few jarred/canned foods out there that's the real thing. Price has been good, too. Hopefully it doesn't go much higher, but we get what we pay for, and Michael's is worth it.

I found this sauce in Philly at Reading Terminal! It caught my eye and I liked the fresh ingredients. I was making a tortellini casserole that called for 32 ounces of sauce and I gave Michael’s a try. The casserole was a hit! I liked that it was on the sweet side compared to other sauces I’ve tried, and I liked the consistency. I don’t understand why other reviewers say it is sour, but we all have different taste buds. Yes, it’s a bit pricey and hard to find, but the other sauces that I use on the fly are pricey as well. You get what you pay for. I’m sorry it wasn’t a hit with others, but this is now my go to sauce!

A step above most. Good stuff. Worth the price.

This is how I was raised to make red gravy. So delicious I can eat it right out of the jar which I do.Only took away one star because it’s not organic. Other than that it’s perfect.

Very good taste, just a bit too acidic for me, and a couple tsp of sugar fixed that. I bought 8 but 2 had lids that had no vacuum seal, the sauce was black / brown and I had to discard.

Sauce is excellent but came poorly wrapped

We lived in florida and and used to buy it in store, and now we moved we were so glad Amazon had this. It's the best sauce with the most flavor and realest sauce you will find. Spaghetti, meatball subs... it makes then so good. Don't waste your time on those other products you have to add spices too this definitely has all you need. Nothing else needed to add to it. Open and go. Perfect for those easy nights pasta and sauce 😋

My local market carries a very limited selection of pasta sauces, and when I found that Amazon carried Michael's of Brooklyn Marinara sauce, I thought, great a new sauce to try out.I have to say, I was expecting a sweeter flavor marinara/pasta sauce. What was missing in sweetness, it more than made up for with garlic.I tried the sauce over chicken Parmesan and over some Barilla bow tie pasta. The garlic was over powering. Was it bad? No, just different. Not really what I was expecting.On to the next sauce.
