*** Harness, Binocular Tether System & Auto-Locking Buckles are included with each pack *** There are times when it is better to have more than not enough. Integrating simplicity and utility, the Kodiak C.U.B. (Compact Utility Bag) delivers optimal storage in a compact option. These are meant to accommodate binoculars up to around 42mm objective lenses. For example, most 8×42 and 10×42 binoculars would fit perfect in the compact harnesses. (Main Compartment measurements are approximately 6.5 inch tall x 6 inch wide x 3 inch deep. Front Compartment measurements for Kodiak C.U.B. (Compact Utility Bag) are approximately 4 inch tall x 6 inch wide x 1.5 inch deep. Side Compartment measurements are 3 inch tall x 2.5 inch wide x 1 inch deep. Rear Compartment measurements are 4 inch tall x 6 inch wide “flat”) H.B.S (Hook and Bungee System) closure allows for quiet, easy one hand operation to open and secure the main compartment. The M.A.X. pocket option adds one additional pocket at the bottom of the pack that is about 1 inch tall and is the same depth and width as the main compartment. This pocket is perfect for storing a light pair of gloves, headlamp, Tyto Knife and blades, or any other small necessities. Perfect for: Swarovski, Leica, Zeiss, Vortex, 8×32, 8×42, 10×32, 10×42

99% Perfect
Fit is perfect. Extra zippered pockets make it unnecessary to add other pouches to a strap just to carry a range finder and/or a small game call. A GPS like the Garmin Oregon fits perfectly in the bottom compartment, and a hunting license/tag slides in the back zippered flap for convenient access when/if the game warden asks to see.The only thing it's missing is a convenient way to hang the pouch part on a hook. The shoulder straps would have to be bunched up and still might slide off. However, about 5' of camo paracord braided between the top two buckles fixes that issue pretty quick. Photos included in case someone else would like to do the same.

Get It Right The First Time - Buy the Kodiak
I did the normal progression from the neck strap supplied with the binocular, to the elastic chest rigs to a skeleton chest holders to what I should have gotten in the first place, the Alaskan Guide Kodiak CUB MAX binocular harness. I own a pair of Vortex 10x42 binos which I use for everything from sports, hikes, vacations to hunting and tried just about everything to keep them safe and accessible without success. After asking around, researching online and looking at the various offering at Cabela's and Sportsman's Warehouse, products by Alaska Guide Creations seemed to give me what I needed. I ordered their Kodiac CUB Max and received it in a couple of days. My initial inspection left me feeling this was a well thought out product with heavy construction, lots of storage, a very comfortable harness, an excellent bino attachment and suspension system and fit my Vortex binos like it was made for them. The Kodiak CUB Max hold my binos close to my chest, provides a fully enclosed compartment for them, a silent cover release and an external bino teather system which will retains my binos when I let them go. It also gave me enough external pockets to store a range finder, optics cleaning kit, headlamp with spare batteries, a compass, a couple energy bars and more. This is one well thought out piece of gear and, as a bonus, it's even made in the USA. I have dragged it over hill and dale, hunting, fishing in Alaska and more and it still looks great. Thinking about rubbing some more mud on it so it doesn't look so new, but have already done that, didn't work. Have had lots of folks ask me about it and several now sport Kodiaks in the field. I have worn a pack over it without an issue and have worn it over heavy clothes with adjustment straps to spare (I'm 6'4, 300 lbs). I now have a nice selection of unused bino straps which probably all-together cost twice what the Kodiak cost. Don't make my mistake, just get the Kodiak.

Exceptional fit and function
This is an exceptionally well designed and manufactured pack.Very comfortable. You forget you have it on. I used every feature and it just works as if you have used it for years.Elastic pockets on top were perfect for a laminated ballistic table and a lens cleaner.Bino and range finder compartments were excellent. Pay attention to the size of your rangefinder. I have a Nikon Monarch which fits just right if a tiny bit snug as the eye cup hangs up slightly if you are doing it without looking. any bigger might be an issue, but the Monarch is grippy and chunky not likely to be an issue.LOVE that the binos and range finder both have lanyards so you can drop them if you need to make a quick shot. I am VERY satisfied. Great value for the money. Very much worth it.

Best that I've used
This Binocular chest pack is the best that I've used. The build is fantastic. My Steiner Wildlife XP's 10X44 fit as if this was made especially for them. I have my GPS in one side pocket, wind detector in the other side pocket, survival kit in the bottom pocket. Fit and finish are wonderful. the only thing that I would like to see in the future would be maybe a little elastic in the straps. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with it the way it is. It would just make it a bit easier to get into and out of. I live in the Adirondack's and put my gear through hell, and this pack will hold up just fine.

Great idea, poor execution, inaccurate sizing
I have Leupold 8*30's and they do not fit in the C.U.B. pack. When extended they're 6" wide by 4.5" tall by 2.5" deep and do not fit in the pack without squeezing the pack to be able to accept them even though the site says 6*6.75*3.5 Forget about being able to get them out easily or quietly let alone with one hand.In addition to that there are a lot of things that would be cool if some slight modifications were made. For instance, it has a "molle" webbing strap to hook things to on the left and right upper portion of the pack, except it's under the bino hood flap so its inaccessible. It's also not molle specs thus the quotes. This could be remedied by attaching additional webbing to the outside of the bino hood flap so you have both. For instance, that'd be a great spot to clip your range finder. As for the range finder pocket, its pretty far out there and not easy to see or utilize quickly while hunting. you have to try to quietly unzip the pocket then fumble to get it out of the tiny pocket then pull against the bungie cord to use it and hope it doesn't make noise while you do it all. In addition to the clumsy factor, its small. I'm running a Vortex Ranger 1800 and it barely fits in the pocket. I have to mash the pocket together in order to zip it.As for the zippers, the side pocket zippers go the wrong way where you have to unzip them upwards, exposing the contents to fall out as its unzipped. They're also straight so that it cuts across the pouch vs. around the circumference. Additionally, there is no backing behind the zipper so if you brush the pocket with anything and something is in the pocket you'll hear the zipper smacking off of it. An easy fix to have them have a guard behind the zipper, zip upwards instead of downwards and around the front circumference vs. diagonally across the face of the pouch. The bottom zippered pocket is pretty slick and roomy and actually goes up behind the bino box though I'm not sure what you'd put there. The rear pocket is good for things that you never need to access. The harness does what it needs to and works pretty well and rides comfortably and is easy to adjust while wearing.

Customer Service
We bought a couple binocular packs. I just wanted to say the product is well made however the customer service I received from Zac was fantastic. He ended up phoning me to help with the straps. I would highly recommend the product and if you had a problem I know you would have prompt help.

Great piece of gear
Extremely well designed and constructed. There are lots of pockets for range finders and accessories. The bino carrier harness is comfortable and holds my Swarovski 10x42 ELs perfectly. Nice to have a U.S. quality product at a fair price. Highly recommended.

One Happy Hunter!
Spacious ,durable, light and comfortable . Larger than some other harness packs but the additional space for rangefinder and other extras doesn’t make it bulky or cumbersome in any way .Actually thinks it’s the perfect compromise of space \size for a harness pack Offers easy, smooth ,quick access to Binos .5 Stars.

Perfect bino pack
Love this bino pack. Holds my Leupold 10x42 snugly so they are not bumping around and there is perfect front pouch for my rangefinder, side pockets hold my calls and a wind checker. Nice to have everything I need close at hand on my hunts.
