Paper. These compressed towels are like thick paper towels. You can re-use these towels if careful. Once wet, the towels will rip if roughly used. I have used mine in an emergency, for sports, household chores washing the car, and still finding a uses.

Q: Can these be washed in the washing machine?

I’m not sure they would hold up in the washing machine. But they can be reused several times.

Q: Where are these made?

Not here in the states... It's not top quality. But, it's compact for a reason and it'll work well for you 3 times. After that, it'll start to fall apart. It's an EMERGENCY towel. That's what it serves as.

Q: How many time can it be used before dispose?

Personally, I would just use it one time, especially if you’re using it to clean up a mess. If you’re just using it to cool yourself down with a wet towel for the face or neck, or wipe your hands off, provided they’re not super dirty, you can maybe use it a couple of times. I think of it like a wet paper towel, although it is much stronger. I have several different sizes, depending on what I need them for. I carry a couple of little ones in my purse so if I am somewhere I can’t wash my hands, I can just wipe them off good with this damp towel and then I can put hand sanitizer on it. If there’s no where to get water, such as camping, I just use a little bit of my bottle of water to wet the towel. A good is example is if you touch something sticky in the grocery store, or a child’s hands, you can wet this towel down and wipe your hands off good, then use hand sanitizer for a good cleaning. I really like, and I will order over and over.
