Not just for step aerobics, it's a great booster platform
My wife recently had a knee replacement and our bed is rather tall. The length and width of this platform mean it's easy to step down onto without an 'oops' and missing it. It's sturdy and the adjustable height is a real plus. We are using it on carpeting so I can't speak to how it would be on a smooth floor, but for us it's been perfect. I only wish I had not waited so long to order it because I could have gotten it with free shippin had I done so - but at least after paying $19.95 for quicker shipping, it DID arrive in time. So it's been a good purchase and I'd recommend it, especially if you order enough in advance.

Very sturdy
Very sturdy. Has textured surface on top so you don’t slip. Nice wide step.

It is pretty big!
Sturdy and big. Great height increments! Got it for my wife is she's been wanting one for our home gym and she definitely loves it!! I like it.. I'm a big fella and it easily holds me. I would definitely recommend this one.. I love the grip it has.. it's rubbery but also grippy at the same time! Can't go wrong with grey either.

Huge!
I guess I underestimated. The stepper is good but it's not standard size like the ones they have in the gym. My own miscalculation. It's does seem to be a bit week in the center and I've only used it about 5 times. Otherwise the step is fine. Hopefully it lasts a while.

Unstable Feeling
The step does not have a solid base. If you use it with socks or bare feet, the contact with your feet feels uneven and unstable.
