SYOURSELF Yoga Towel Yoga Mat Towel

This yoga towel is a nice addition to my exercise. I am doing my exercise at home and I am only using a colored bath towel that's why I am very glad that I was able to get this. I use this as my yoga mat instead of a towel. Our floor is carpeted so this makes exercising a bit comfortable especially when you have to be on your knees and elbows. This is softer than the towel I am using so there's no skin rash or burning. The towel is made from a microfiber and we all know that microfiber are good absorbent. This makes my exercise steady and continuous. I don't have to stop and rearrange the bath towel I was using. It is also long so it can lay down on it without any problem and wipe off the sweat. The yoga towel comes with a small pouch so you can carry this anywhere you go.I think even without the pouch, once the towel is folded you can just place it on your bag. Another thing is that I got it on purple which is my favorite color. This towel works great and I am very satisfied with it.

This mat towel is pretty good, it is very similar to my manduka equa mat towel however the size is better because it fits to my mat perfectly, and lays totally flat with no edges flipping up or curling under. the only negative I don't particularly like is visually it doesn't look like the material is as high quality as my manduka equa towel. When you look at it it's as if I've had this towel for a couple years and have washed and dried it a few hundred times ( it looked like this right out of the box). My manduka equa towel I've had for years and have washed it hundreds of times and it still looks brand new. I purchased the Syourself towel because it fit to my mat much better and I needed another. It does what it promises it will: not let you slide, offers great grip so it does do what it is advertised to do. I would have rated it 4 stars or maybe even 5 if the quality of the product was better.

I like this towel for the price. Its a lot less expensive than the ones sold in studios. I also love the color, it perfectly matches my yoga mat and it looks exactly like the picture. Its really soft too. I dropped a star because the backside does not have the sticky material to prevent skidding. I practice hot yoga frequently and I find the towel coming out of alignment a lot during certain movements. It has pockets on the corners of the towel that slip under mat. I suppose this feature was added instead of the sticky stuff. Its still a decent towel though.

I was upset upon receiving this, since it was too short for my standard sized mat and seemed quite thin and slippery. However, after using it once I am less upset with this purchase. I can only get the corner pockets over one side of the mat, and I leave them off on the top of my mat and just set my smaller towel over it. I use it regularly in my hot yoga classes and it doesn’t really slip, but you might want to spray it with water if your class isn’t very humid.Overall, I’m really enjoying this towel! Just wish it was longer.

I would really give it 3 1/2 stars. I don't care for the texture of the fabric, however it performed better than expected. I sweat a lot in hot yoga and I was afraid it wouldn't absorb it all like the thicker mat covers do, but it did a fine job. One plus is that it is so light, it dries in no time. I hand washed it once and it dried overnight; then I machine washed it and it dried in a few hours. I guess my main complaint is that I don't like the feel of the towel. It slips a little, but all the mat covers I have do that. It doesn't fit exactly, it could be just 1/2" wider. Also, it's not quite as pretty as I thought it would be. Sorry, I like to leave good reviews, and I'll bet there are people who would prefer this light yoga mat cover to the ones that are a little denser.

I like that the towel is lightweight and very absorbent, but it's not actually slip proof, you have to tuck the corners of your mat into pockets on the corners of the towel to keep it in place, and it seems like its more meant to fit a thin mat, on my thicker mat it makes the corners bow up. It also does move during practice more than my other non slip towel that has a "grippy" material on the back. Its a really good towel, but had to rate at 4 stars because the material is not really slip proof like it says.

Bought this as an alternative to putting a towel on my mat, and was really impressed with the graphics and quality. The ends of the towel has pockets to slide your mat into so it says in place, and it grips the mat pretty well. The only downside for me is that my mat is shorter than the towel, so one end of the towel overlaps about 4 inches/the mat doesn't tuck into the pockets. It slipped a few times when doing some of the more dynamic moves, but mostly worked great. Guess what family and friends are getting for presents this year!!

The best feature this product has is flaps to insert your mat to keep it in place, which I didn't understand it had from the description (unless I just missed that). The designs I picked are really pretty and I've gotten several compliments on the celestial/spacey one. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 - my feet slipped a little but no more than my bare yoga mat but since I bought these to keep my mat cleaner, it's not a concern to me but thought it worth mentioning.

Love, love, love! I have the purple galaxy one! it's pleasing to the eyes, brings beauty to my mat! I always get compliments!*Just Note: upon being washed, the was a few cm too short for my mat ( the corners of my mat lifted when secured into the ''security'' pockets). Post being washed & 10 min in the dryer, it shrunk but still covers my mat.** Make sure to moisten the soles of your feet, or else you'll be slightly find yourself sliding.Therefore it's perfect to be laid on top of your yoga mat.

I bought this for hot yoga. The design is amazing (I got galaxy for me and the green with mandala for my boyfriend), we got lots of compliments. But I'm not sure I would classify the material as microfiber, or at least it's different than my other microfiber towel. It's softer, which is nice, and stays cool to the touch which is a pleasant surprise during a hot class, and it fit over my yoga mat. But it's so thin, a little slippery, and not very absorbent so it soaks through and my yoga mat gets soaked. Wasn't stoked about that. I'll continue to use it for the easier, less hot classes, but it's not the best for a tough hot yoga class.

I started doing hot yoga 2 months ago, and let me tell you that being as stiff as a brick wasn't the only thing holding me back, all of the sweat on my yoga mat made it so it was almost impossible for me (dangerous even) to hold poses, these towels are an absolute life saver and make my yoga classes so much more enjoyable.

Used for hot yoga classes, I found the surface slippery until it had absorbed a sufficient amount of moisture. It’s a solid towel overall for bathing. Doesn’t get smelly and dries quickly. Folds up small for travel.

It’s a yoga towel for hot yoga. It’s not super absorbent, so if you’re into hot bikeram’s yoga, by the time you’re done your 90 minute session, it’s soaked through. You’re still having to spray down your mat. I’m not a super sweaty guy, I used to live in the desert and enjoy the hot weather, but even I was soaking this thing through. But it feels better than having your yoga mat with puddles on it.
