Before I talk about the tool, I wanted to talk about Forest Tool's customer service. I received the tool and there was a part missing. I sent a message via their customer support portal on their website on a Saturday night. I received a response Sunday morning, and the replacement part was delivered on Wednesday. I think that was phenomenal!As to the tool itself: If you do any offroading, four wheeling, or own any acreage, you really need to have this strapped into your vehicle. Often when you buy a multipurpose tool it doesn't do anything well, but this one is an exception. Some people may balk at the price, but it's actually inexpensive considering what you get for the price, and it will probably last a lifetime.

My partner and I were looking for an axe to add to our camping gear. This multipurpose tool ended up being even better than just a stand alone axe! The shovel and rake tools attach super securely and are great for clearing brush at a campsite - also handy to keep near the fire pit. The handle was surprisingly light and comfortable, quite tall at 34". The leather cover for the axe head is high quality and attractive. I’m happy to support products made in the USA. Overall this kit is built to last and will make this a great addition to our gear for years to come!

The ruggedness is appreciated and is sturdy as you would want.However, the shovel attachment I received with my kit would not fit into the receiver end of the axe for use. It was too big to pass through the receiver and therefore could not be pinned in place. After much hand filing I surrendered and used an angle grinder to bring the piece down to a manageable thickness so it would work as designed.I reached out to the manufacturer and they didn’t even respond. If you aren’t handy with a grinder I would think twice about spending this amount on a pioneer kit.

I was honestly shocked by how heavy this was! For some reason I thought it was a mini / portable axe set but this is full size and STURDY! We haven't gotten to use it yet but as soon as we took it out of the package my fiancé fell in love with it. Everything comes apart and fits nicely in the travel bag but it by no means skimps on power or strength! Can't wait to take this camping!

I have been looking for the perfect all in one axe to avoid having multiple tools and could not be happier. Ace is solid- great weight- and it’s ready to go at a moments notice in my trunk. My daughter used the shovel attachment to plant a friends plant!! Highly recommended for adventure but also great for everyday use for anyone to use!

The material feels very sturdy/high quality and the attachments work well. The green attachment bag was much more compact than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. I keep this kit in my car so I always have emergency tools out on the road or camping.

The media could not be loaded. Very disappointed with this product and will be returning it. The ax itself looks to be well made but the joining is still tacky to the touch. The blade of the ax has dents and chips, the paint is already chipping off right out of the box. Each one of the accessories is more disappointing than the next, each one is overpainted and has drips and chips. The attachment system is not well made and allows the accessories such as the pic to wobble making this a very dangerous tool to use. The rake attachment piece does not fit through the hole on the ax, and it looks like the screw was painted while in the attachment part meaning as soon as you turn it bits of paint begin flaking off. If I was not buying this as a gift maybe the poor quality of the paint wouldn't be so troubling, as this is meant to be a tool not a display piece. As a gift I would not give this to someone I cared about because it is a safety hazard and is more likely to injure than help in a off-road situation. I will be returning this and again I am deeply disappointed in the quality of this product, would not recommend.

First one I received had a broken handle on the end (last picture)Reordered and handle was fine, however, the shovel grind is way off compared to the other side. The grind on the axe also leaves much to be desired.For almost $300, there should have been better grinds on the tools. I would expect this from a product made in China, not from an American company.I'll fix the axe edge and live with the shovel grind; not worth sending back a 3rd time to get something possibly worse or broken again.
