The Intel sealed box contains the barebone NUC, a 120W (19V, 6.32A) power adapter WITHOUT the Mickey Mouse cable and a VESA mount plate with screws. The storage, memory, keyboard and OS are NOT part of the kit and must be bought separately. The seller Kochar Computers was kind enough to include a high quality Dell Mickey Mouse cable in the package.The NUC itself is tiny. I have paired it with a Crucial P3 Plus 500GB PCIe 4.0 3D NAND NVMe M.2 SSD and a Crucial RAM 16GB DDR4 3200 MHz CL22 CT16G4SFRA32A. These were bought after checking compatibility on the Crucial Advisor tool website. Installed genuine Windows 11 Pro via bootable USB drive. The OS installation completed successfully without any tweaks or workarounds to the BIOS settings. The WiFi and Bluetooth worked out-of-the-box and the boot time has been pretty fast. The machine has been working flawlessly ever since and applications such as Google Chrome and MS Office Suite tools open at the blink of an eye. The fan noise is minimal and does not cause any distraction.I have mounted the NUC on the back of my 24" monitor using the provided mounting plate, which keeps it neatly tucked and makes it easier to move around along with the monitor.

Coupled it with Crucial 500GB M.2 SSD and Crucial 8GB 2666 MHz RAM.With the i5 11th gen processor and SSD in place, It's fast just as expected.WiFi 6 is giving speeds upto 70Mbps when connected to a WiFi 5 Router. (I don't have a WiFi 6 Router)Bluetooth is also good. No connection drops.I'm not completely sure about the microphones. When I recorded using parecord in Linux, It felt decent but from skype, windows, I'm getting very low volume. Hope some configurations will fix it.I didn't test the CIR yet. I will update if I do test it.The power button feels a bit weird when pressed. But that's not a huge problem to replace or return the product.

usefull enough

I was contemplating between getting this and a NAS. I'm glad I went with this. I took out the SSD and RAM from an old laptop, installed it in this machine and it ran flawlessly.I'm using this as a NAS at home. It comes with a VESA mount so it can also be installed at the back of a monitor.

One thing I may want more is built in POE

Initial Impression: Product delivered on time and packaging is good. Intel NUC is a good barebone PC and simple to configure and run. Initial impression is good, with 16GB RAM and Nvme M.2 SSD performance is impressive.
