Q: Is this keyboard compatible with a Macbook Pro?

Yes they will connect to a Macbook Pro but I would not recommend it. They are extremely slow to respond and a lot of the functionality is missing as Dell only provide drives for Windows systems. Note that the keyboard and mouse worked perfectly on a Windows desktop.

Q: Do you have to switch between devices on both the mouse and the keyboard. Or does switching on one also switch the other?

The keyboard and the mouse could be switched between devices using the toggle key on the mouse.

Q: can you please confirm the contents of the package? Does it always come with keyboard and mouse as stated in description?

You should message the seller not buyers, but mine did come with mouse, keyboard, batteries and dongle. Ive been very pleased with the set. Only downside was the first set was faulty but was replaced. Second set I've been using 40hrs a week for about 6 months
