The item is true enough to the picture, but as other reviewers have tried to articulate, the colors are so unsaturated that this could only look good against a white wall, and I'm not sure about that. I put it in a window, and it just looked lame. Furthermore, this is a sticker, not a decal. It wouldn't be able to be repositioned many times, and the material is fragile enough that being removed from what it's stuck to puts it at a high risk of being distorted. Since it doesn't come with a squeeqee, an additional purchase is needed to prevent bubbles during installation. And, again, there's a high risk of distortion and a slightly lesser one of tearing when fixing the bubbles. Other reviewers are also correct that the white windows in the pictures are, on the actual product, not merely shaded for perspective but a pale grey.The seller (or its software, IDK) contacted me asking for a review: I appreciate this follow-up that shows attention to customer satisfaction, and have kicked my review up a star accordingly. But I would also like them to know that I planned to purchase about ten of these from them, so as to have all my windows 'looking out' onto a different scene. It was going to be fantastic during snow season! Regrettably, due to the quality of the project, I have had to abandon this plan.Also--apartment windows's individual panes are usually squares, guys. That's most common in my geographic region, at least. I was willing to have a significant mismatch between product and window size if the 'decals' had looked as good as the pictures--would have bought some 'frosted glass' to put underneath or something--but by only having the landscape-sized panels, you're passing over some of the very populations who will be attracted by your price points. Not everyone has wall space.
