Tortec Velocity Hybrid Rear Rack

I use this for my panniers (Orlieb classics). I got the panniers years ago for bike touring, I ended up just using them for groceries from the local co-op, mainly milk and bread. I'd like full fat but my wife insists on semi. My old rack snapped after I overloaded it with a weeks worth of beans and barm cakes. The new rack does the job though! It's a bit narrow at the top which is good for weight and I can still bungee the cats carry case to it for trips to the vet. It also makes a great grip for when your mates want a tow on their on roller blades.

Bought this rack for my Gtech hybrid electric bike. I needed extra washers when connecting to the wheel hub together with the mud guards but then again this is a generic rack so expected a bit of faff. Works the treat when connected and easy to connect pannier rack bags.

Sturdy pannier rack - quick and easy to fit. Perfect fit for my hybrid (wheels are 700x35). Has been used with one and two panniers - no problems in either case. Make sure to tighten all bolts really securely. The rack once came loose whilst I was cycling (but did not come off the bike completely) because I didn't do this properly when fitting. Tightened everything up and it has been fine ever since.

Looks good quality, nice and light and fits my 700 x 38c wheels perfectly. Quite easy to install

Good product

Quite a nice bit of kit but it did instructions not great - it take me quite a while to realise I had to loosen the length adjuster on the connector with a hammers it was jammed into the corner. Not a big deal but I thought this might help anyone else with the same issues....
