Musical Scale Names Flashcards - Learn or Teach All Your Major, Harmonic Melodic & Natural Minor Scales

This is exactly what I needed! My piano teacher and I realized recently that I have (unfortunately) learned the scales (particularly natural, harmonic, and melodic minors) in the order they appear on the pages of the book I first purchased when I started piano 6.5 years ago. I don't use that book anymore, but I play the scales by 'seeing' in my mind where and in what order they are on the pages! But when asked to play, say, a Ab/G# minor melodic I can't without first playing the natural and harmonic because they came first in the book. OY! No good!At first I tried to make my own cards and that was pretty much a disaster and sloppy so I looked for some on amazon and was thrilled to spot these! If I were paid for the time I wasted trying to make my own I could have bought many sets of these.The card stock is better than I expected. I thought it would be like copier paper but it's nice and sturdy. I noticed in some reviews they state 'smaller than expected.' I guess they mean the font size because the size of the cards are stated in the description so that should be expected. I find the font size to be what is considered in the book publishing industry 'large type.' Larger actually, than many large print books.The description states the size of the cards as 3 x 2" but mine actually measure 3.25 x 2.5" which is *perfect* for lining several up on the music desk on my piano. 3 x 2" would have been fine as well.I'm very excited to get started learning scales... again! Correctly this time. :-)

Cards are smaller than expected and almost paper thin. Shrinkflation?

Love this flash card set! I am a brand new baby keyboard player and these cards are excellent helping me learn my scales. Will check out other music flash cards by this seller.
