I used this 2 pack to do the cut work in staining a 120 square foot deck. Worked very well with oil stain, but any knots or screw holes eventually shredded it. I barely had enough material to finish, so if you intend to use these for a big job, plan accordingly.

In preparation for selling my house, I had my entire house painted inside. I decided to paint my own baseboards after the painters did the walls. I did it to save money since trim work is labor intensive, and I am on a tight budget. These went a lot faster than brushes and I found I did not have to tape or at least not tape as much. This saves money on tape. It is easier to control these and keep a steady hand when painting near the floor or wall. I bought 3 the first time and just now ordered 5 more. The painting also goes much faster with these than brushes and does not leave brush strokes. I painted for 3 hours after work and by that time I had put enough mileage on it to toss it in the trash, which is possible due to the price. I also was able to save water, since I am on a rainwater collection system. I am a happy camper and now feel, for the first time that I will finish the trim by my deadline which is the end of December. I would buy these again in a heartbeat. For once, something extremely convenient and useful for a very low price.
