Right size, does not leak.
Started with one of those "Solid Stainless Steel" $60 kitchen faucets. Very nice. The connect to any thread in the world with the right adapter supply line fittings both leaked. At $200 this Delta is nearly four times more expensive, so much for value rating. Walked through HD looking at faucets. The big name brand, medium (but not inexpensive) priced kitchen faucets were disappointing flimsy.. I have been having some good luck with Delta products in my recent remodeling. This Delta feels fairly substantial, The valve body is solid metal, they say brass in the description. The neck and sprayer are pretty light, welcome to the real world of throw away consumerism. Not as good as the $60 one, much better than any of those more expensve faucets on display at HD.. Mounting was easy, Delta is good at providing clever tools. PEX supply lines are long enough to connect to my through the floor water line with a gentle curve, returned my extension lines I had needed for the $60 one. The flow control valve only rotates 90 degrees, cold is straight up, hot out at 90 degrees,.aka the valve handle and dirty wet hand do not hit the back wall when turning it on the way it did with the rotate both ways $60 one. The retraction weight does not clamp on the spray line, it slides; the sprayer line does not self retract after being pulled out, you have to push it in. This particular Delta faucet is not a "full size" kitchen faucet, it is a "prep sink" faucet, a little shorter and a little narrower in the arch. I replaced a typical 36 inch two small basin kitchen sink with a (smaller) one large basin sink. The $60 faucet looked huge and made the sink look small, This Delta is the perfect size.

Great faucet for indoor use
I ordered this to replace my outdoor kitchen faucet that was the exact same kind that was there before. The faucet functions very well and it is sturdy. It also looks nice and is a great size for small sinks. The only problem is that the hot and cold water lines are built into the fixture so you cannot just replace the water line if it is damaged! I only had the first faucet less than 1 year. The water line froze and ruptured during the winter. It was nearly new, but I had to replace the whole thing! That is a poor design, but otherwise it is a really great faucet!

Bar Sink version is just right for my large kitchen sink
After 25 years, my Moen pullout faucet finally wore out. I wanted something better, that rotated more than just 90 degrees, and didn't interfere with my access to the sink, large pans and such. The new Moen's were nice, sized between the large and small Delta faucets. The Delta models put out 1.8 gpm rather than the inadequate 1.5 gpm the Moen's do. That was another thing I was tired of. But I worried the Bar Sink version was too small. I was wrong. It was just right. Indeed, it looks huge after my old Moen faucet. The stream of water hits the center of the sink, where it should, not like the large Delta that people complained about for splashing water on the floor. And since it is a pull out, I don't need it to be so big anyway. I can direct water anywhere I want. The spray setting is too strong, bouncing off and creating a mess. My old Moen put out a gentle spray with lots of water that needed to be stronger pressure. Be careful what you wish for. But I do find that it is OK if I turn the water volume down, giving a strong spray with little water used. Still, it would be great if they could make it less intense. The pull out function works great, better than my old Moen. The sliding weight on the Delta works well, very smooth, and retracts with just the right amount of tension. The magnetic lock is wonderful, my favorite feature. If this faucet lasts 25 years like the Moen it replaces, I will be very pleased. We shall see.

Great faucet - wrong instructions/escutcheon is expensive option
I purchased this to replace a Kohler Forte pull-out kitchen faucet, and there is much I prefer about this Delta product over other Kohler faucets I've installed. The water flow in the regular setting is very focused and powerful, which is helpful for cleaning, and the spray setting flow is also somewhat narrow, which helps keep water in the sink instead of spraying over the kitchen. Installation was quick and required a minimal amount of tools, mainly just a Phillips screwdriver and adjustable wrench. Faucet looks great, the swivel function shouldn't ever get stuck (unlike the Kohler) and the smaller bar faucet design is a great fit in a kitchen with an older, smaller sink. The reasons why I deducted two stars are because the wrong instructions were included with the packaging. I wasted a few minutes wondering why the parts I received in no way resembled the parts shown in the instructions, and wondered why there were no instructions for installing the pull-out head counterweight. I had to go online to find and view the proper instructions. Unfortunately, even the correct instructions for the faucet are poorly written and can be very confusing, probably due to the different variants of this product they're supposed to cover. There is no list of parts, and the illustrations don't always match the configurations and/or parts that are included. Fortunately the overall installation process is pretty straightforward so it didn't take too much time to figure things out on my own. It's sad that Delta didn’t make the effort to ensure that the correct instructions are matched to the product, and it’s a concern that other important details may be overlooked. The other reason for a star deduction is that this bar faucet does not include an escutcheon for installation in a three-hole sink, whereas the full-size version (9113, which cost only 12 dollars more when I purchased) does. Instead, the escutcheon must be purchased for an overinflated extra cost—the version pushed/recommended by Delta's product support in the Amazon Q&A section (RP47274) costs more than $100! I found a different compatible Delta escutcheon (RP70714) by looking at the part list online at Delta's website, but even that version cost more than $50. This was for a piece of molded plastic, some foam, and a flimsy metal cover, all of which should cost maybe $10-$15 instead of $50-$100. Unfortunately cheaper third-party knockoffs probably won't work, as the faucet fits into cut out notches that hold it in place and may be missing on the knockoffs.

great faucet at a great price
Bought this faucet as an open-box/used item - saved a lot of money and installation was a breeze. I do not see anything wrong with the faucet. No scratches, no missing parts. The box was beat up - but who cares.

I wanted a Delta pull-down kitchen faucet for my renovation. My old one was 18” tall and too tall for my sink which is in the island open concept to living room. I needed quality, good looks, sleek modern style, short and discreet as possible,pull-down swivel faucet with sprayer, brushed stainless finish. This Delta Essa Bar/Prep arctic stainless finish was my choice after copious amounts of research. It is shortest gooseneck pull-down ai could find at 14”tall. It works beautifully and looks great on my new quartz kitchen island. I bought the Delta Monroe soap dispenser as well, the finish and style matches the Essa perfectly. Bought the Kraus SS single bowl 23”sink, happy we downsized from those huge 33+inch double bowl sinks which are way too big nowadays. Love the Delta Essa, much nicer than my old Moen. Easy install.
