All the parts are sound but I regret the purchase because they could have been pieced together at a hardware store if I wasn't lazy about it. Be sure to add a few drops of oil or another lubricant to the swivel or you'll get some squeaking.

All the parts are sturdy and high quality. I used this to support a hanging chair from my Pergola by attaching it to a cross beam. It is about a s wide as the the edge of a 2x4 and the bolts that came with it worked great. I predrilled a starter hole to make sure I didn't split the beam. at 215lb I can sit worry free that it will pull from the beam,The chain I folded in half to get the perfect height form the ground and the carabiners make it easy to connect and remove when the weather gets bad. I would try to give some cons usually but this is a pretty simple device that had no downside that I can tell.

This came with good directions and was easy to install. I liked that it came with the clip and the chain. It makes is easy for me to adjust the heighth of the swing so it is perect for me. I love using my hammock swing and feel safe in it knowing I have such a good hanging hook for it.

Used to mount the pictured chair hammock. Good thing about this kit is that it comes with lag bolts and expansion bolts, and two carabiners in addition to the chain. The lag bolts will need to be pre-drilled with an 8mm bit (12mm for the expansion bolts). Use the lag bolts for wood beam mounting, expansions for masonry. Make sure to drill to proper depth for the bolts and not wobble the drill on extraction of the bit!

Easy to hang, very secure. No backing out of lag bolts that were installed into a floor/ceiling joist on the long side. Only probkem is it squeeks quite a bit. I am leery to use any tough lubricant as I do nit want to damage the plastic bushing on the kit. Perhaps some plastic friendly lubricant.
