I bought this for my husbands burgers. I went with the round one because I was afraid of sharp edges from the square one scratching the pans and a round one will fit up against the edge of the pan better. It washes super easy, no lingering water in crevices and not an ounce of rusting (some reviews said they had rust on theirs) and no sharp edges on mine. Super sturdy but not heavy.I like my burgers thick and juicy. My husband likes his burgers flat and crispy (I don't get it but...whatever). He also likes his steaks well done and his breakfast sausages flat, burnt, dried out and like a hockey puck (bluk). So there's the background to the review. With that being said, I made him eggs and sausage the other night and this burger press flattened his sausage patties just the way he likes them. No more broken flippers because my husband doesn't know his own strength!!Little bit of advice though in case some don't know, this gem is easier to use on loose meat if you put parchment paper on top before pressing. Maybe a bit of a wipe of oil between the parchment paper and the meat so the meat don't stick to the paper.

I just received the Warmodern Stainless Steel Burger Press 5.5inch Round Smash Burger Press from Amazon. Out of the box, it feels very sturdy as it is made of one solid piece of stainless steel. This fits my needs exactly to make ultra smashed burgers over a cast iron pan. I really need something hefty and flat enough to ensure I smash the beef into the cast iron pan, ensuring it makes close contact for that perfect crispy sear. I was previously using a flat stainless steel pan, but having a fit for purpose tool now makes it so much easier and fun. Thanks!

Fantastic press that’s easy to clean and use without a waffle pattern that gets meat stuck like some other brands have that are terrible. This is the best press and the round shape is great for round skillets and cast iron. Best press I’ve ever used

Cook on my griddle every day (weather permitting). Use this press for uncurling bacon, smashing burgers, and more. Love that it's stainless steel so no metal taste in my food, and no seams to collect grease. Great addition to my griddle tools. Wish it was just a tad bit larger and a little heavier. But, no complaints. Absolutely love it!!!

Works great for smashing burgers. Way better flavor than regular grilled burgers. Very well made and perfect size for making several burgers at a time, works better than another one I have that’s to large and heavy. Would recommend this product to all who are griddle grillers addicted to smash burgers.

It works great and if I spay it with Pam there’s no need for parchment paper. The stainless steel handle will get hot if you rest it on the griddle so I rest it on a service tray at the low temp end of the Blackstone.

This was a bit smaller than I'd prefer, I'd rather see it be an inch to an inch and a half large in diameter. That being said, this did a fine job on 4 to 6 ounce burgers so long as you are careful with your aim. The feel in the hand was excellent, very solid and controllable. I ordered this as a gift. After using it, I intend to purchase another for myself.

Extremely well made heavy gauge stainless that won't bend and should last for years. Hollow stainless Handel keeps cool to prevent burns. It's a one piece design so nothing to melt, burn out collect buildup. Best design I have found so far!
