S560 0.25/0.5-inch Square Drive Met Socket Set

What you would expect from Bahco and what you get. I am a tradesman and use my tools all day everyday, these Bahcos will stand the test of time. Great kit.

Excellent tool kit. Just about everything you need in a 1/2 drive plus many extra extensions, wobble joints, 1/4 drive ratchet with the same in 1/4 extras.

Top quality product and not over priced. Used these back in Australia. The US tool market has no good quality mid priced hand tools. Either cheap junk or mega expensive. This brand hits the sweet spot. Awesome kit. Highly recommend.

Awesome ratchets, very slim but feel solid. The 72 teeth mechanism is very smooth and the bicomponent handle is grippy and seems to be of good quality. On the other hand, the sockets and extensions are quite rough and sloppy. Still, for 100 euros this set is a great value. Had some problems with Amazon shipping though: 2 out of 2 cases were damaged during transport.

Perfect mid range socket set. Great for DIY use. Don't know how it would stand up to daily use seems really well made and more than good enough for my needs.

The Bahco S560 is an absolutely top set. It's Made in Taiwan. Both the 1/4" and 1/2" drive sockets are 12-point. The ratchets are very slim and heads very small! These are prob the smallest head ratchets I've owned. They help get into tight spaces. They are very well machined, have smooth gear action, the direction switch feel positive. The comfort handles are not as easy to clean as your standard chrome ones, but it's a compromise you're making, cuz they are great to hold. The case is very sturdy, it's not too big so it's easy to chuck under the car seat or in the boot. However, I despise the latch design. If you forget to latch on and lift the case up using the handle, be prepared to spend the next 5 minutes trying to gather all the parts from the floor. All Bahco socket set cases are like this, this is the worst part about this set. Overall, I love Bahco socket sets cuz they are very well made with precise broaching, and tolerances are tight and precise. These sockets are a league above mid tier stuff you can get in Australia like Kincrome and Repco. If you compare them to premium tier like Koken, Bahco is not far off. Koken's socket machining is consistent and precise to the point it's scary. Bahco doesn't reach that level of consistency, but is still seriously impressive. I don't think there's anything better you can get in Australia unless you go premium tier like Koken and Snapon.
