Elegant
Very efficient. Elegant. Smooth. The touch pointer need to press hard but it does the job.

Nothing like a 'real' Cross Pen
I have an older model of this pen and this one is awful in comparison. The problem? I had to return the first one I received because the writing tip did not entend far enough out. This makes writing a pain when you can't see when the tip reaches the paper. It's only a couple of millimetres but that small difference makes all the difference. I returned it for an exchange and the replacement arrived today and it is worse than the one I returned. This one is going back also.I have owned Cross pens for more than 40 years and still use my Black Lacquer ballpoint every day. The new 'Made in China' Cross Pens are nothing like real Cross pens. Pretending to be a Premium Brand whilst shifting production to China doesn't sit well with me. The mechanisms are nothing like Cross Pens used to be.Looks like I will not be buying Cross Pens anymore which is a shame. I'm left handed and my older Cross pens have always been great to write with. Even my 4 or 5 year old version of the Tech 2 is great to write with. Why? Because I can see the writing tip. It's the one thing to get 100% correct and these new Chinese versions fail miserably. Now I have to find another brand of pen which is Ruddy annoying.

Looks good, writes well, stylus tip works okay.
I like Cross - they make stylish, robust pens. Thought I would try this as I often use stylus tips on my touch screens. It does look good. Sleek and red with a lovely brushed metal body. Twist and you're away with the nib. I do prefer a chunkier grip though and while it is comfortable I wouldn't use this as a constant writing companion as it can get a little slippery after long use.The stylus works fine, it's a little harder than other tips I've used but hopefully that means it will last longer.Solid purchase if you want a combined pen/stylus.

Poor design for a Cross pen!
I love Cross pens for 30+ years but this design is very disappointing. It's got a twist function for the refill to drop down, but it wont stay down unfortunately- every 3/4 lines you have to twist the nib back down again. It's a pain!I ordered it in both red and black, expecting them to be perfect, but I've had to return both as a similair issue was present. So it's a design issue.

Meets a long-felt want.
My house is littered with discarded smartphone styluses with missing stylus tips. (Must have a clear out.) Cross, a great pen company anyway, have introduced a range of ball-point pens with screw-in styluses. Not cheap, but worth the money. Mine is from the cheapest of the range and is just perfect. Replacement styluses are available in packs of two. Add an Apple self-adhesive pen holder and there you have everything you need in a smartphone pocket wallet.

Is This ballpen worth the cost?
Ordered this as I wanted a pen that was also a stylus but one with quality I was therefore happy to pay the almost £20 it cost me. The packaging was superb but when I took out the pen I was more than a little disappointed it works ok but it seems little different to my much cheaper ballpens. Perhaps there was an alternative to this gift package but I didn't see it.Overall I consider this pen well overpriced so be careful when ordering
