This is a must have for skin. Forget anything bad you've ever heard about Lanolin. This is an excellent brand.
It's hard to believe I've never tried lanolin. I have known about it for 30 years or more but thought of it in a negative way. I was totally wrong. This is the single most effective ingredient in every skin care product I make. Even if it's only ¼ teaspoon I can tell the lanolin is there. It adds smoothness and in products I use as a moisturizer for my face it adds magic. That's the only way to describe it. I'm 65 and I don't expect magic on my face just help maintaining healthy nice skin. The products I've made (3) that I've put the lanolin in actually seem to plump out some of the deeper lines ( I don't like to say wrinkles) on my face.I also use this with nothing added for severe psoriosis on the soles of my feet. Again it is amazing. It seems the longer I use it the better it works. It coats the blisters like an invisible bandage and make them feel better. I can walk around without so much discomfort. This lanolin is very nice. It's very nicely refined thus it smells neutral and looks like yellowish Vaseline. It doesn't feel anything like Vaseline of course. It's hard to put on undiluted until you learn a few tricks. First take some Lanolin out of the large container so you aren't contaminating the jar. This is a big jar. So with your small container just stick your finger in and get a small amount like pea sized or maybe a bit more. Then rub your fingers together and warm it. It won't take long. Once it's warm tap it on the area you need to treat. I say tap because I've learned to use less by tapping instead of rubbing things into the skin. I'm a RN and I've been using this trick forever. If you need more then use two fingers to take it out of your smaller container and again tap it into the skin. Tap and then blend in with three fingers (except around the eyes of course). Continue to do this until you reach the desired effect.I will definitely buy SAAQIN anhydrous Lanolin again and again. This is a great price for an extraordinary product. I can make so many skin care products with this. I even used it to help a friend with very damaged hair. I used a tiny bit of lanolin and worked it into the the hair in the most damaged areas. It didn't wash out either it keeps on mending. Awesome

Excellent lanolin ---- perfect for making your own LIP BALM
This is excellent quality lanolin at a very good price. I especially love it for making lip balm. The super simple version is just scoop some into a small pot or jar with a screw on top, and voila, you have instant clear lip balm that really, really works to soften and protect your lips (better than any commercial lip balm you can purchase at any price.... and I have probably tried well over a hundred on my super sensitive lips over the years). If you want colored lip balm (I often do), you can add some powdered cosmetic pigment to the lanolin and stir until well blended and the color you want. Add a little pigment, have a slightly tinted lip balm, add more color and you can have a highly pigmented lip balm. I buy my pigments from TKB Trading. I strongly suggest you buy actual pigments (not just micas). My favorite is Murasaki Violet, with which I make a gorgeous deep berry-purple lip balm.If you don't like your lip balm in a pot, you can melt some beeswax (appx 35% of total), add your lanolin, melt them together, then pour into empty lip balm tubes. If you want it to be like Burt's Bees, just add a few drops of peppermint essential oil to the hot mixture before pouring into the tubes. As far as the alleged "smell" of this lanolin as pointed out by some reviewers... there is a slightly 'wet sheep' smell if you open the gigantic 1 lb container and stick your nose down near it. However, I transfer my lanolin to smaller containers. The 2oz container I keep on my nightstand for night time lip use the smell is barely noticeable, and in a lip balm size container, it is not noticeable at all. I use this stuff numerous time a day on my lips, which I would certainly not do if it stank. This one pound container should last even an obsessive lip balm user at least a decade.

Great for that winter itch relief
Unlike many other brands. I found that this product does not have that strong odor. I also added my favorite essential oil scent to further enhance my enjoyment. Great product.

Fantastic lanolin product!
I had used USP grade lanolin for years as a moisturizer; the stuff works well, but it takes forever to soak into the skin (leaves a persistent tackiness and greasiness), and it smells awful. I recently read that a thing called refined lanolin (purified, not sure by what process) existed, and bought a tub of this stuff.First, this product has little odor - you'd need to slather your hands heavily for anyone to be able to get a hint; this is in contrast to regular lanolin, which would have people wondering what you'd been doing if you rubbed a little onto a hangnail.Secondly, it is a little less viscous than regular lanolin, absorbs into the skin better, and does not leave residual tackiness (if you overdo it there is a little silky greasiness). This is my favorite skin care product of all time. I've had my tub of it at work all week, and have been sharing it with anyone who will let me slather it on their hands. I only regret that I didn't discover the stuff many years ago...I found out how to make this work even better - hydrating it! I put a no-more-than-2/3-full jar of it in themicrowave and give it small increment zaps until it is completely melted. I then start adding small (no more than 5-10% of volume at once) increments of water to it and stirring thoroughly - until it is the color of butter. Let it cool, and you get a product that soaks into the skin even better! I've bought small jars (2-4 oz) and have poured it into these when melted, and have a terrific gift !

Works well
I use this to help my dry feet along with vitamin E mixed and it works great. I'm not fond of the slight smell, but its not terrible. Might not even bother most. I'm a bit picky with smells.
