Pellon/Legacy 100R Vinyl Fuse - 15" x 2 Yard Package - Gloss Finish

Great idea but very thin and it's too temperamental. No matter how many times I tried, my placemats never turned out great. Ruined some pretty expensive fabric, I cut my losses and purchased vinyl placemats for the pool dining table. They're much thicker and no bubbles.

I purchased this product to make the lining of a little trashcan for use in my car. It's easy to use and adheres well to quilting cotton. I would purchase again.

Made some pencil cases to donate to a local elementary school. I used the empty bags from various snacks and used the Pelion on the outside and lined them with fabric, added a zipper for the opening. The principal let me know that she will take as many as I can make!

I make cottom zipper pouches for cosmetics and such. So, finding a product like this was just the ticket! HOWEVER, it requires an iron to adhere to the fabric; and, unfortunately, even when being careful, it is MUCH too easy to melt the product when you're trying to fuse it to your fabric. As a result, I ended up having to sort of patch over around the edges where the heat had melted it (because, once you adhere any part of it, you can't jut peel it off and start over). I'm not sure what a solution could be, but I probably won't be buying this again.

Used between 2 layers of terrycloth on baby bibs. Unlike other buyers I had NO problems sewing through it, NO glue on needle but I did iron it on, let it cool, iron again and cool overnight before sewing. Make sure iron does NOT contact vinyl directly, it will melt and leave a hole. Would definitely use again!
