I've tried a bunch of different brands and doses of melatonin, ranging from 0.5mg to 20mg (yes, 20!), and in my experience 3mg is the perfect dose. You can take just one, or double or even triple up for especially rough nights, and not feel wiped out in the morning. Works very well and helps me sleep. Thorne is a quality brand that uses quality ingredients, and the price on these is good too. It's the only melatonin I will take, highly recommended.

I've taken drug store brand melatonin for years. I recently decided to try Thorne because I use several Thorne supplements and trust the brand's quality. This melatonin works exponentially better than the drug store brands that I've been using for years. In fact, I had to lower my dose from 5mg to 3mg. I suggest taking it 45 minutes before going to bed. You'll be sound asleep moments later.
