Great hitting mat strip.
Great hitting strip. This turf is thicker and more dense, which is helpful for iron shots. So far I’ve hit over a 1,000 shots and haven’t noticed any wear. I fit this hitting strip into my larger hitting surface and it’s holding up great. Would recommend.

Clear upgrade over the budget mat
Started off with a 5'x4' budget mat. It served the purpose to get started, but durability and shock absorption left something to be desired.Instead of a full replacement, I tried to save a few dollars by upgrading my platform by inserting this mat as the hitting area and using the budget mat as the area to stand. I was able to pressure fit it into my platform without any adhesive and the result is quite stable. So far, this upgrade has been a great decision. This mat feels much more realistic and feedback for both good and poor strikes are easier to distinguish. The ability to use real tees has been nice and going through the full setup during practice seems to better translate to the course. From what I can tell so far, the durability is much better than the lower priced alternative. After 2 months and a few thousand strikes there is no clear depression in the hitting area, which is very different than the other mat that would show wear within a few days.Overall I have been happy with the purchase and would recommend to anyone considering an at home practice area.

Awesome
I have had my mat roughly a year. Being a high handicap, I have beaten the crap out of this hitting strip. It has held up extraordinarily well. I practice nearly everyday. It punishes poor shots while not causing pain or injury. Still looks good as new. Will definitely purchase another, if and when the time comes.

Just wish...
I had this for over a year, and it has stood the test of time from 2 golfers.I and my daughter use this, and it's about as real as real can get.The feedback is solid, so if you shank or duff, or mishit, you know. It's thick enough to where you're not going to damage your club. We hit everything off of it, irons, wedge, wood, driver, all of it work off the mat.The only issue that is, it is THICK so you will at least 1" gym mat to match the height. You cant see divots or whatnot, but you know where you strike, it really teaches you to feel your club's face and direction. If it wasn't so $$$ for the larger ones, I would definitely upgrade to the larger mats. Just cant see spending 500$ plus on a practice mat, even if it is highly rated.

I have hit well over 10000 shots on this mat and still looks brand new
So after about a month of friends and family playing on this mat it still looks brand new if your looking for a hitting strip for your simulator or just for practice in the backyard you cannot go wrong with the reel feel golf mats, I also have the 4x5 and 5x10 mats and they are awesome the company also included a 10% off coupon for my next order which I will use for sure some day but I don’t see that being anytime soon as these are the best built golf mats I have ever used, soft and cushioning so your wrists don’t take the brunt of it when you hit behind the ball. If you are looking at another product don’t you will definitely be glad you paid the extra money.

Perfectly sized practice mat, exceptional quality
My home course has country club elite mats for their range. I love hitting off of them. My summer course doesn't have them (yet). I bought the smaller mat to use there. I even use it when chipping in my own yard. The mat is the same high quality, in a mobile size - and beefy enough to get a solid practice session in.I've used scrapped carpet and I've used turf remnants. This mat is not like those. It holds up nicely. It is noticeably thicker than the typical driving range mats. My golfing buddies even ask to use it. It gives good feedback and makes practice more realistic.

More durable than my joints
The build quality, durability, etc are all terrific, especially for the price. However, I developed pretty severe tendonitis using this for a few months straight. Will be replacing it with something better, and I HOPE I can recover/heal without taking a long break from all golf.I really wish I would've read up more (these are notorious for joint pain) because I regret using this.

High Quality Mat That Lasts!
I couldn't be happier with this matt. After 2 years of heavy use it still looks new. My only complaint is that it bows up a little in the middle and won't flatten perfectly, but that is typical of every brand and it really doesnlt affect my ball strike.
