I would have given a full 5 stars but there’s one thing I hope could be improved. When removing the sample, I had to push the handle in and out. I had to use more of a slamming motion and ended up smashing my finger a few times. (You think I would have learned after the first time buuuut) If there was a way for the manufacturer to add a stopper of sorts to keep fingers safe, I think this product would be too notch!Regardless, this soil probe is easy to use and seems pretty sturdy as my 200lbs jumped on the foot rest to get a full sample. I would totally recommend this product! Definitely priced right!

Shipping was really fast. I like this tool because it has features that I need such as the footstep and ejector. Also it is made of stainless steel to keep from contaminating sample with metals. The only downside for me because I am small framed is the weight of it. Otherwise, it fits my needs well and definitely recommend it to get accurate soil samples so I can amend the soil properly and grow nutrient dense food to foster nourished human beings. 😊

Works great. The only thing that I don’t like is the step. It does work but be careful not to break it or bend it with to much pressure. If this was stronger I’d give it 5 stars

Very surprised how heavy duty this thing is. It makes taking soil samples so easy and super fast. Well worth the money!

The probe is used fir moisture testing. If is well built but the core pusher sticks snd is not very functional. The foot pedal is useless after 10 inches as it slides freely on the probe shaft. The extra price for these two options was not worth it.
