Actually works. I had vaginismus for 10 years and it was a painful problem for me. Although looking back, I actually did not physically need this smaller set, I used it fully starting from the smallest, and it was a huge confidence-booster. I worked through all the sizes in two weeks, spending five days on the first one! I was never in pain once. I also realized that lube can make a huge difference for me in general. The one downside is that the name of the manufacturer is impressed into the shaft, which was noticeable and very slightly uncomfortable when it was twisted (this is part of the exercises you do) where the imprint didn't make it as smooth as it could have been. On the larger size set the manufacturer has done away with this and has put the name of the manufacturer at the base - smarter. I would recommend this to anyone.

Struggled with penetration issues for years and have never managed to put in a tampon never mind penetrative sex. Was given dilators by the gynaecologist but they were incredibly painful and I never managed to get very far. Managed very occasional finger insertion but it was always very painful. These have been incredible and I’ve managed to move through to the large set in the space of a few weeks. The small set has one which was smaller than the smallest given by the gynaecologist and I think this really helps with confidence etc. This is my own journey with this and this isn’t the start so I wouldn’t want anyone to feel deflated if it isn’t as fast for them but I definitely feel that this is a great start. If you’re struggling, know that there can be progress. They come with a little velvet bag to keep them in which is good and the base on each is helpful, the ones I had from the gynaecologist were hard white plastic with no base. Recommend a good water based lube (I use the Sylk one- pricey and small bottle but good) and to follow the instructions provided. Obviously the main issue is the price for them which is why I’ve deducted a star. They’ve been worth it for me for sure but feel like things that can be to help those who have medical issues or have had trauma previously should be priced more reasonably.

Well.... size does matter- maybe sizes should be explained a bit better, only 1x of the 4 I ordered was suitable for use, a shame as great quality and really makes a difference.

Product works well and is comfortable but shipping label was slapped directly onto the box and there was no external packaging, so lost one star for indiscrete delivery. Lost another star for cost - I bought this product when it was £90 but is currently on sale for £60 so that's more like the price I would have liked to pay!

I was raped the first time I had sex. Since then, I've had an incredibly difficult time relaxing when trying to have sex. I always used lube, but I would still chafe and bleed. I had to stop my partner halfway through because it hurt so badly. It was to the point where I didn't want to have sex because I knew I would just keep hurting. I talked to my OBGYN and she recommended I try using dilators. I figured it would be best for me to start with large pack because I always used Super Plus tampons growing up, and I could easily fit 2-3 fingers inside myself. With the large kit, it took me about four months to get up to the largest size, but I can now comfortably use it if (1) I'm in the right headspace and (2) if I have lube. I use the dilators once a day for approx 20 minutes. I had sex with a partner a couple of weeks ago, and this was the first time in my life I didn't bleed or have to stop. It was still slightly painful for me (even with lube), but it was insignificant enough that we had sex multiple times. Prior to using these dilators, I never would have dreamed that possible. It's still a work in progress, but I would absolutely recommend these dilators to anyone in a similar situation. Logistics: The box is discreet and shipping is discreet. The dilators look very "clinical" in the sense that they're not gaudy or you wouldn't instinctively associate them with a sex toy. I always put lube on the dilators, they feel fine upon insertion. The logo is etched onto the side of the dilators - personally, I couldn't feel the logo at all while using them. The dilators are flexible, which is good. They move to fit in all the right spots inside your body. In terms of sizing, I also wish there was a size between #11 and #12, that would have made the transition a bit easier. However, it is still doable to jump between the two.
