I purchased this little lamp knowing that Claymore is a great brand for headlamps and led lanterns. Since I always wear a hat when I'm outdoors I decided to buy a clip on light that would simply attach to my hat. This product is miles better than Black Diamond storm and other headlamps I own and tried. Super bright, much much lighter and lasts lot longer. No need to carry heavy batteries (My Black Diamond Storm takes 4 AAA batteries and I always needed a extra set). No need to wear a band that messes with my hair. It is so light that I often forget I had it on my hat. Battery seems to lasts forever specially if you use it on a low to medium setting. I did not need a recharge during my past 4 camping trips, only charged at home after I got back. Easier to store and pack since it is so small and do not need any batteries. Accidentally power button press in your pocket and killing off the batteries do not seem to happen either unlike the Storm (of course I always forgot to lock it). Dual red light is brighter and super handy for attracting less bug. Flat lantern mode and the included clip lets you use it as a lantern as well. I cannot praise this product more so I was compelled to share my experience. If you are in the market for a headlamp and if you wear a hat, look no further this is it.

I've had this little guy in my edc bag for a while but hadn't put it through any serious use until the last couple weeks. My wife went on a bachelorette camping trip and was very excited with how well their tent was lit by it. I'm not sure how many hours she used it for but a thunder storm knocked out our power the other day and even though I hadn't charged it since her trip the low flood light setting (which kept any room I walked into sufficiently lit) lasted the entire night and still had a bar of battery left when I woke up the next morning.

Its not bright enough when working under a semi truck for me.

Not too heavy on the cap, very good.
