Peg Perego John Deere Gator XUV 6x4 Ride On

My child loves her gator. Rides it everyday in the summer. Gets plenty of use.The dislikes are the several repairs we’ve had to do on it in the past 2 years, mind you there is a two year warranty so we only had to pay for the wheels. We have had to replace the wheels which split, mother board twice, and drive motors for the tires. Customer service is helpful but some of the trouble shooting is not for everyday person. My concern is what else will go wrong after the warranty is over and I have higher expections when spending this kind of money.

If your looking for the perfect gift for your child or grandchild, look no further. It is well made, although tedious to assemble, it is well worth it! The smiles on my children's face whilst riding in this were priceless! It can tackle tougher terrain than your average ride on vehicle. Yet it is gemtle enough to not tear up your grass! Most definitely recommend!

SUPER CRAPPY if you have holly terrain.... we bought this for $800 and hoping it would be great being a 24v. From day 1, it did not last long until it overheated and have to let it sit for so many minutes before you can drive it again. So disappointing for the cost!

Terrible, does not take even a 10 degree incline before it shuts down and beeps. Replaced battery and called Peg Pergo, they claim it is a safety switch! Would only purchase if used on level ground. Honestly, NOT worth the money!!!

I bouht it 2 month ago, my children use it for one single day, and quit working

I bought this truck for my son for Christmas and we have already had it out in the snow and it performed great even pulling a Radio Flyer wagon with two kids in it

Overheats and has been pretty much unusable.

My kids are 5 and 7 and this is awesome!The only problem is that Amazon doesn't not offer a replacement battery that fits properly! Do not buy a 24 v battery from Amazon thinking it will fit! It does not and they will not accept returns on it!! Go directly to Peg Perego to purchase the proper battery!!

Very disappointed with this tractor & the customer service of Peg Perego - it arrived a month ago, very quick shipping, we finally got it put together 2 weeks later, to find out it was missing parts, a bolt & washer for one tire, and the lever for tipping the back of the gator up. We were able to take a bolt & washer off another peg perego toy to fix this tractor so my son could use it straight away.He has driven it for 2 weeks, not rough, (he is 2) and all of a sudden it has stopped working entirely. Battery is fully charged. We contacted Peg Perego via phone and they told us the claim had to be done by email. I have sent 4 emails, and not had a single response, and it has now been almost 2 weeks of it dying. VERY VERY dissapointed with the lack of customer service and communication. They did inform me that there is no service centre in BC and that they would probably just ship me out different parts to replace and see if any of that works. Alot of money on basically a lemon, and Peg Perego is not standing behind their product.I should say - we have a smaller Peg Perego tractor and it has worked well, which is why we chose to upgrade to this one as our son got too big for the older one.

The instructions are mostly pictures but just read it through and lay out everything first. It did take about an hour and a half to completely assemble this Gator.The dump feature needs some repeated use before the kids could pull it up themselves.The battery that came in the box was a dud. It charged and the light changed colour but the Gator only beeped. (Definitely check that it works before letting the kids on it, we had very disappointed boys). Called the help line and got awesome service. We had a new battery in 3 days.We have been using this since quarantine started and has been fantastic to keep the boys busy. With both kids on it we can get 1.5 hours out of the battery before it needs a charge. (Full charge takes about 4 hours)You will not regret this if you have 2 loud and energetic kids.

This is the second unit that I have bought the first one had battery problems an we could not get a replacement battery so we tried to retrofit it and broke the unit. My Fault. Out of guilt I ordered my boys another one morebattery issues ordered another battery wrong size and amazon took it back. I have reached out the the peregoan have heard nothing back. To bad this product has potential but i will not be buying anything else from them.There customer service is non existent.DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I bought the gator so my two sons 4 and 2 years old, can ride together and they do! They love it! But the fun doesn’t last very long because the battery doesn’t last with two children in the gator! Other than that the gator is well made easy to put together and we are very happy with it!

Had this for about one month and now it is not working, just a continuous beep. Very disappointed in this toy especially for the price.
