PABA 500mg 100 Capsules (Pack of 2)

I have been a long time Amazon customer for years and have purchased a wide range of different products. Although I can't think of any product that I have purchased that I would complain about I very very rarely take the time to praise a product. This time I feel it is my duty to at least share my personal experience with this product because I feel it will bring hope to others. A little bit about me....I'm a health and fitness fanatic and think that taking care of your body both inside and out leads to life longevity. About 15 years ago I noticed a spot on the back of my lower calf where the pigmentation had completely vanished although it was small I was very shaken up by this and couldn't quite understand why it was there. I'm not a person who believes in running to a doctor for everything and I'm completely against using drugs as a cure all for anything occurring in the human body. I believe that if a person learns to understand and know themselves they can guide themselves to a healthier life and any recover from less than healthy states. I decided after that first moment if seeing the spot on my leg that I would simply observe my entire body as time went on. That is what I did. Many years past with no other changed to my skin and then suddenly and almost frequently I started to get the same lost of pigmentation on several parts of my body. Although they we're small these spots could be found on my arms legs both calves and thighs and torso. My genitals and gums we're affected the most which was kind of odd but true. I still never went to see a doctor or took anything to correct this problem. I didn't feel that I needed a doctor to tell me I was losing the pigmentation of my skin it was clearly plain before my eyes. This year however this condition took on even a more progressive spread. I was sitting on the toilet (I know tmi)and happened to look down at my feet and the baby toe of my right foot had lost all it's pigmentation and so had the perimeters of both feet. Now I am a very darked-skinned African American so I was startled. It was at this moment that I started to do a check of my entire body. I could see around the perimeters of my hands and fingers the pigmentation of my skin had started to lighten drastically. When you realize you are losing a part of your self that you have grown to love even though living what you believe is a healthy life style it's easy to go into a depression. But I didn't do that I decided that I was going to do something about this condition before it gets too far out of control and for me that wasn't going to see a doctor. I started looking online and reading about the condition and what people who suffer from it are doing about it from a holistic stand point. In mind my I'm thinking OK Cheryl it's an auto immune condition how hard can it be to fix this. It was at this time that I came across this product and so I researched it a bit more to find out about it's benefits relating to the skin and specifically vitiligo. Strangely enough though I didn't come across a whole bunch of reviews on this product and it's usage for vitiligo but it's the one I decided to try. Of course I came to my favorite online store Amazon for the purchase and I selected Now product because they make quality products. OK I got my product on May 11th and started taking it right away. For the first 2 weeks or so I took it as directed but then I increased my dosage from 500mg 1 capsule to 1000mg 2 capsules. This is where if I hadn't seen what I seen with my own eyes I wouldn't even believe it. This was just last week I'm sitting on the side of my bed and again I happen to look down at my feet. I noticed the pigmentation around the perimeter of my left foot was starting to fill in. Crazy right....I thought so so I had to put myself I some sun light and look again. It was really happening not only on one foot but both and the baby toe of the right foot that lost all pigmentation had pigmentation again not yet as dark as the rest of my body but not pink either. I thought wow! That was fast! I was still having a hard time believing that something could work so fast. I waited another week before I did an inspection of my entire body...don't ask me why I just did. But when I did what I found was nothing short of a miracle. All the spots that I had developed over the years had pigmentation still light spots but pigmentation was there. Sorry to be so explicit but my genitals have completely regained all but 3% of pigmentation. My gums have regained 85% of their pigmentation and I'm not even through the entire bottle yet. This is truly amazing. I can't say what kind of results anybody else would have. I just know of the major results I'm experiencing as we speak and I'm quite pleased with them!

NOW is an affordable, high quality brand. There's evidence that PABA may slow graying of hair. These capsules are a size that are easy to take and I plan to be a continuing customer.

I acquired PABA as it is known to treat quite a few issues. My wife takes it to ease arthritis in her hands and also to treat anemic conditions. It does seem to help with both issues for her. I have also read that it was once suggested to treat gray hair in both men and women, supposedly to help restore your natural hair color. I have started taking it for this purpose, but can't see much difference just yet. If I wake up one day and my hair is a nice, wavy blonde color again (or if I suddenly get better looking) I will update this review accordingly. In summary, so far so good. It does seems to help with the conditions for which we purchased the product and I think the product quality and price are exceptional.

I've been taking the supplement for years. It seem to help protect my skin from extreme sunburn.

Paba was recommended to me to help w/moodiness and hot flashes due to menopause. Seems to work great. Good product and value.

I really feel like I don't burn as much in the sun. Normally I step outside and tan so much that I get burned and turn a weird dusky brown color afterwards. Not so much these days while I have been taking these pills. I started taking them because I started a long hair journey. This on top of several other supplements have made my hair get very long.
