PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha Gloves - Full Finger Protection for Shooting Sports

The media could not be loaded.  These gloves were purchased for my wife to go shooting with and she likes them. It seems like a lot of the time we go out shooting it is raining and these are helpful however they are definitely not waterproof. After a while even these gloves will not help your hands for warmth but they still do help when it comes to grip. They are definitely a tight fitting glove but that is helpful when you are using them for shooting even if that means they might not the most durable.In the end we like these and will continue to buy them!

I was skeptical about gloves that would fit me just right but with proper measurements.. these gloves fit almost perfectly.

I have owned several pairs of these high-quality gloves. I used them initially while on deployment in Iraq and Afghanistan, and also during several dynamic, high-round-count tactical rifle and pistol classes. They allow me to easily manipulate all controls while protecting my hands from small cuts and from the hot parts. But as good as they are for tactical use, I've found that they also make great casual gloves in cool or somewhat cold weather. The same 'full dexterity' which is useful for shooting is also useful for fishing my keys out of my pocket without having to remove my gloves, and for similar tasks which require full dexterity. And since I carry a defensive pistol daily, they would not be an impediment if I were to ever need to use that firearm in extremis. One note, though: these gloves are, by design, very thin. Eventually, especially with rough use, they will wear out. You should consider them expendable items, and replace them as needed. Also, the vent holes which make them comfortable in hot weather means they are not true winter gloves, and may not be your best choice if you're going to be outdoors for an extended period of time in very cold weather. But for their intended use, they are pretty much perfect.

Purchased these to use at the range and while training for competitions.It has taken me quite a while to find a good pair of sturdy gun-handling gloves since I have particularly small hands for a male.Needless to say; I'm done looking. The PIG FDT Alpha gloves are about as ideal as I could hope for. Comfortable, relatively easy to don/doff, excellent flexion where you need it, excellent grip where you want it.The one and only gripe I have with these (and this is very subjective again given my smaller-than-average-hands) is that the thumps are a hair too long. Just enough to notice while nit-picking, but not so bad as to be distracting. All the other fingers are about perfect.If you're in search of cool looking AND functional AND comfortable gloves for range day or anything outdoorsy - Look no more!

I love the color and material of the PIG gloves. I am an small to average size woman, so I ordered a size Small in my gloves. Although they do "fit," I wish they were a little smaller. A tighter fit would make they perfect. PIG if you ever make a size X-Small let me know. ;) Other than that these gloves are an awesome buy. Well made and despite my size complaint I am still happy when using these gloves when I'm shooting and my hands are a little cold.

These are gloves designed for dexterity, not warmth. If that’s what you are looking for, they are great. You don’t have to take them off to use your phone or really anything else. I recommend sizing them for as tight a fit as you can tolerate. I really hope they keep making these guys, as I have owned three pairs over the last several years and will continued to buy them until they’re discontinued.

Fits great! Have not worn them shooting yet, but can tell they will function well as the fit is snug but not too tight

I have never been a big fan of big thick gloves, not even in the winter. Just something to keep from direct air and surface contact when its cold. These are great for daily winter use, shooting, and touching hot surfaces. The 550 cord tab is awesome to really snitch your fingers in I bought a pair for everyday use, a pair for the range, and a pair for my girl!
